morning all.just a few thoughts on todays posts. first perfectly reasonable to point to the possible need for further finance in due course.any prudent investor would need to take cognisance of the possibility, but even the beginning of Q2 2021 is in aim terms quite some way away.obviously we will all have our own subjective views as to time scales but its not as though we are staring down the barrel of a gun just about to be fired.if we have had good news by then and clearly we will have a much better idea as to prospects well before that point, further financing should not be a problem. lombard clearly views the prospects as acceptable as demonstrated by their increased investment. similarly perfectly reasonable to point out the possibility of further trials with concomitant expense.always a risk in these scenarios. however imo this is why the decision to progress the EMA submission prior to and independently of the FDA application, is both sensible and potentially very important. my simple layman's assessment (anecdotal observation nothing more)is that the EMA is a slightly less challenging authority than the FDA. i may be wrong but i would expect the route to approval to be less difficult with the EMA. if this is correct and if we succeed in getting EMA approval it should ensure that we have at least a reasonable degree of income (upfront licensing payment/payments,milestones etc)to help with any cost of additional FDA trials. just how i see it.other views are available.gla

just some thoughts on the point made by another poster that one can buy likes.i entirely accept that that can be and is done. however if melody were to do it they would imo be risking a potentially very damaging repetitional blow if revealed and also if it is as cheap to do as suggested surely we would have 100s of thousands if we were just buying them.i realise the poster was not suggesting that melody were buying them just commenting on the low number which was perfectly reasonable,but personally i view the incremental increase in figures over the last few weeks as very encouraging demonstrates a growing increase in social media awareness which is vital.personally I'm very happy to be given updates on the figures.

intersting article Mel.i dont profess to understand it all but in a way it resonated with the tenor of the NY times article referred to in DJP57's post at 13.19. that article seemed to me to be written more from the perspective of a would be gamer or vr experimenter enjoying or expecting to enjoy the delights of vr very much for their own sake rather that as a music/concert lover wanting to see their favourite artist etc. perfectly acceptable perspective of course but not perhaps the one from which we should view melody's potential. what the singularity hub article does emphasise of course is the growing sphere of interest in vr in general and the technological progress going on. this can only be extremely good for melody in the medium term.all just my opinion of course.

11pm update its now got 1k views. dont recall anyone reaching that level so quickly. im not obsessed with numbers as such which are i suppose quite small, but its the rate of increase which is interesting and imo highly significant .other views are available!

interesting also that matchett has highlighted the IOS revenue. if i recall correctly the lengthy brokers report a while ago emphasised that they expected the major source of revenue in the mobile area to be from IOS ,as i think the more premium end. I'm saying this from memory so may not be correct. not suggesting it's of any particular significance,just making the connection.

afternoon bignose hope you are well.yes saw the agm announcement.am i right in saying the last 2 or 3 days have seen astonishingly low levels of trading even for regent? doubt its anything significant but just wondering out loud.

whilst accepting that one should not read too much into figures, on an anecdotal observation level his viewing figures look to be outpacing all the others in the first hour or so .this may (i emphasise may) be a function of growing awareness of melody rather than his individual popularity.just musing.

big positive is the absence of debt.yes we have had placings but not at horrendous discounts,so the measured expansion and cost control has had a positive result in that respect.

ok ORLM thats very interesting. im not really au fait with tracking these numbers (bit too old) but certainly got the impression that frank carter and the rattlesnakes generated much greater immediate interest than any of the other recent acts up until then,but hadn't seen the figures for Ray and Pearce so thats very helpful.
