afternoon.thanks for all the information YHAL.reinforces my initial view yesterday but with a lot more detail and substance thanks.i agree entirely with your comments bunco.my thoughts exactly .im glad we've got lombard with a significant holding although it does puzzle me a bit as to how this would fit in with dbays modus operandi.i don't know when dbay acquired their initial holding (it would have been below reporting requirements )but its perhaps worth noting that romulak was formed in jan 2019 so they cannot have acquired it before then unless some form inter associated company transfer..still not clear as to Sarkasse bank involvement but am trying to look into that a bit further.

maxdba thanks very much for that.im not much cop at the IT stuff so I've tried to find it but no luck. iwas really just interested to see if it indicated a recent initiative by melody or even better some increased interest by 3rd parties in the app.anyway its good that its there and i like the format of the site.also pleased to see the posts about fall out boys and the linkedin posts. feels very encouraging.

i think it may be a very good thing the we have lombard and potts as major shareholders. although its good news that douglas bay have increased their holding and particularly that they have borrowed money to do so (imo you need to have additional confidence in your investment if you borrow the money to buy it) they do seem to be very active and possibly aggressive investors.just going on a quick goole search so nothing in depth or profound but they have a long history of involvement with eddie stobart and in effect took over the company quite recently.they remain the largest holder. a RNS released 5 mins before close of trading today seems to have put the cat amongst the pigeons on the board (suggestion of clever tactics to trigger stop losses etc).not suggesting there is anything in that and perhaps an overreaction but the impression remains of an active and self interested investor,so perhaps a very clear agenda in mind.could be completely wrong and very different situation here (they own 27% of stobart i think) but this may be exactly the catalyst needed to generate some positive response from the board or perhaps other investors.just musing and probably very wide of the mark.also noted that romulak was only formed less than 18 months ago.specialist vehicle perhaps?again probably idle speculation but interesting imo.

not certain but it looks to me that sparkasse bank have to be named on the TR1 as they have rights which may enable them to exercise control over the voting of the relevant shares. presumably this is through some form of charge or security they have been granted no doubt in return for providing the necessary finance for the purchase.could be wrong and happy to be corrected if so.

actually i do think it possible we may get further announcement as my feeling was that about6.5% of the company's shares were traded in two day(s i didn't keep a record so could be wrong) so just possible other disclosures may be required.

its because the shareholder is romulak, a subsidiary of douglas bay capital. romulak held 2.77% already as per RNS of 29/8/19. sparkasse are some sort of counterparty (whatever that is )and I'm not clear as to why they are mentioned. incidentally I'm clear now on chelverton. they had5.08% 4,835,000 shares on 9/1/20 so have reduced as speculated by 1m to 3,835,000.i hope this i correct but happy to be put right if not.

agree with that entirely ORLM.my last post was not actually in response to yours,but was intended as a slightly tongue in cheek response to some rather negative comments from another poster,but that was perhaps not clear.im always very interested in posts with factual information other than speculation and your information regarding the headcount was welcome.
