whilst i realise this is a rather simplistic and one dimensional way of looking at things,i do keep coming back to our current M/C. at £26m or thereabouts it's not that challenging. of course if we never make any profit it would still be too expensive at a tenth of that, but it wouldn't or shouldn't take too great a sniff of some real commercial opportunity to make us look attractive to others.its getting that sniff of success (rather than the miasma of failure) which is proving so difficult.good news on the FDA front or even some positive views re OTC in eu should do it though, or at least one would hope so.

thanks for that bignose.intersting.intersting thoughts from escovido as well.talking about covid stocks did i post that i was in synairgen.sold out the trading day before it went up 550%.worried about holding into results.so much of it is just luck really. i need to remember here that whilst we have the distraction of DLI, time is moving on re the core fortacin position.perhaps the increasing propinquity of FDA news is generating some underlying interest.just musing of course.

do idea I'm afraid.it would be nice though if one of these rises with no apparent cause were to be followed by a further rise or at least flat rather than the regular pullback.just makes you think that there is no substance to them.as you say just traders.still up 25% or so over two days,so perhaps just to be expected.

dougie all meetings which are not AGMs ,which are required to be held at certain times by the relevant legislation, are called general meetings or extraordinary general meetings. the terms are synonymous. just means it is not a n Annual general meeting.

on a serious note it certainly could be a relief rally,as you suggest bignose.the timing certainly suggests that.what makes me a little doubtful is that we are still in the "delay"stage.they haven't actually called if off.the market could well be anticipating that this is where it is going,but its quite a sizeable uplift just for speculation.just musing as its anyones guess really.

yes all very odd. 35 % rise on day following what was a disappointing announcement.yesterday was very odd also. i didn't keep a record so this may be a bit off ,but with about 1 1/2 hrs trading to go there were over 10 times as many recorded buys as sells yet s/p was only up 4%. it then went flat and although the ratio changed a bit going into the close there was still a significant preponderance of buys yet closed up only 1% or so. not as big a volume as today of course, but it wasn't tiny.no idea what is going on.

looks like it bunco..this is what I've been expecting (and tbh hoping for). when we didn't get it yesterday i was a bit puzzled,so glad to see it. now starting to get quite close to the 20% which i see as a trigger point. just speculating of course and probably tosh, but if they get to 20% my personal view is hostile is inevitable.

cunning maybe keith.wll conceived not so sure. top priority for serial entrepreneurs is always to generate value for small PIs. lol!

https://uk.practicallaw.thomsonreuters.com/w-006-9109?transitionType=Default&contextData=(sc.Default)&firstPage=true#co_anchor_a770576 hello ferrisc. this is the bit I'm not clear about.certainly the admission document will contain the notice for the egm and 14 clear days are required,i.e. excluding the date of the notice and the date of the meeting.so if posted on say 30th nov the new entity could not be admitted to trading until the 16th dec.however the notes under the heading "suspension and cancellation of aim company shares state "once the admission document is published dealings can re-commence and the suspension is lifted". i don't know the answer and you may well be right,but it does seem possible that trading can restart as soon as the admission document is published. apologies if i have misunderstood something and more than happy to hear other views.

further though still worth speaking to HL as certain trades can still go through even in suspension where for example the same broker acts for both parties off market.they may be able to deal with it that way.let us know if you can.sorry for 10 bites at same cherry.

sorry denial.further though .i don't think you can .id forgotten you cannot transfer existing shares into an isa you have to sell and repurchase which i don't think you can. the analogy with transfers on death is not apposite.sorry if first post was wrong.
