intersting post this morning mel.we know the proposal is to issue approximately 200m mvr shares for $11.3m so thats about 4.3p per share issue value. they do say approximately so could be some adjustments. the documentation is going to be interesting as we will end up with napster as a whole owned subsidiary of mvr. the resulting entity will presumably be a complete transformation from the existing, in terms of shareholder base and no doubt in other ways (as you suggest directors etc). looking forward to seeing the detail.

it may just be me but i cannot find the app which was supposed to be launched yesterday in the App Store.hopefully its just me but who knows.ive had no communication from them after subscribing,e.g. nothing to confirm the launch and that the app is now available.

well LF i don't have a firm view as to how things are going to develop except in a generally very positive way.i am just wondering where the emphasis,if there is one,will lie.i am happy for things to unfold in whatever way they do.

not disagreeing LF.my wife always says i am prone to understatement! it does make one think what the future shape of melody is likely to be. (where is the emphasis going to lie?). i do think that there is massive scope for huge impact in and from japan and far east so certainly wouldn't want to down play it.

i am always a little surprised by how risk averse the regulatory authorities can be, particularly the FDA. i do wonder if the reference to "dose limiting toxicity" in one case in such a small sample,is something to sound alarm bells in relation to future partnership prospects etc.not saying that is necessarily the case by any means, but the results need to be seen not only in their own right, but in the context of the regulatory framework as a whole.

yes it was a very odd comment by mellon imo. you did post about market abuse investigations a short while ago. if i had to bet id still go for ironing out details or some unexpected spanner in the works ,rather than jiggery pokery (is one allowed to say jiggery pokery these days?) but who knows. the last thing we need here is a scandal in the impropriety sense (as opposed to the competence arena).let us hope we have positive news by the next deadline,but it really is fingers crossed and i have a bad feeling I'm afraid.

morning bignose.thanks for clarifying matters.i take your point completely.very considerable funds are going to be required. i am wondering like you if there is some bigger plan in mind ,as if its just a single isolated bolt on its not going to make sense. i'm no fan of people jumping from one "hot"sector to another (CBD,AI/longevity) but i do hope that the proposal is part of a bigger picture as regent in its present form seems to be sinking.could all change with US licensing deal etc but at the moment that seems just wishful thinking. problem is to paint any bigger picture is probably going to result in even more dilution.but aa you say it's Regent so anything is possible.looks like we are returning to the old trading patterns so not seeing any market confidence to give encouragement I'm afraid.

afternoon bignose not sure I've got your drift here.i assume, but could be wrong, that once the Series A funding has been completed the funds raised belong entirely to the invested company, DLI and as such will be available for the financing and running of the same. the investors will eventually (if things go through) end up with shares in regent to replace their DLI shares and as regent will be the ultimate holder of DLI they will retain in effect their interests in DLI .the timing of everything makes it completely clear that it was completely orchestrated and in effect predetermined and is it that you are worried that the subsequent proposed acquisition of DLI could,in some way,scupper the series A funding? as i say I've probably not followed your reasoning (feeling older by the day) but it does seem to me that the funds have to remain with DLI,although how long they will last (huge salaries etc)is a different but no doubt very pertinent question.just as a matter of interest i have signed up for the basic young ai app launched tomorrow.it just means i think that i will get emails about developments, as i have no intention of actually downloading it. i have no wish to be able to monitor my inexorable ageing by AI and will remain happy to rely on the more obvious physical signs etc.lol

all depends YHAL.there are some holders i imagine with less than 3%currently who would not need to report anything.all depends on figures but yes we could certainly get reduction announcements as well.

as a rough calculation it would take less than £300k of shares to put Dbay over the next % threshold,so quite possibly they are already there ,so perhaps RNS at end of next week?

whilst director buys would be most welcome, imo we probably won't see any.just speculation of course, but at the risk of making a sweeping generalisation, these types of situation seem to follow a pattern. complete absence of any substantial director buys and a continuing failure to buy even in times of significant s/p weakness, suggests whet are not prepared to buy in. i think i am correct in saying that the bod remuneration is pretty low in comparative terms and although i have no idea of the bods respective financial positions, they may simply not be in a position to commit substantial funds. my guess (thats all it is of course) is no director buys, continuing accumulation by Dbay (looks like they got another £200k's worth or more this afternoon) until 20% or so, then hostile bid at around 50/60p.the latter figure if we are lucky.
