interesting flits. they were i think the first act to generate a more substantial level of interest than their predecessors. a bit more energy and excitement possibly and more ardent fan base, although i know nothing about them .my slight concern is that if the is the next set it means a 5/6 week gap between performances .i realise that with napster they may have other areas to be focussing on at the moment, but not really a series of performances or a lineup if that the case .to maintain interest and momentum and to create a feeling of substance they need something in next few days imo. it probably doesnt really matter in the long terms as probably a bigger picture is unfolding but personally would have expected a little more from brixton by now. and where is MGK?

interesting question wilco and one to which i do not know the answer. however,being of an optimistic turn of mind i am inclined to hope that as the FDA have given initial guidance and have indicated a pathway to de novo approval (subject of course to a further trial and whatever else may be required as matters progress) this particular point has been considered and is not seen as a barrier.fum have referred to oct approval as the aim, which presumably they would not do if the difficulty you mention was a problem here. optimism and speculation on my part of course,but I'm hopeful that this particular point will not prove a stumbling block. other issues of course may do so.

backinblak interesting post.can i ask was the device you mention one which might be regarded as complicated (in layman terms )and in particular was it invasive or non invasive? im not seeking to cast doubt on your post as i agree with it entirely, but just wondering if the relatively simple nature of med 3000 may suggest a shorter time scale. that said i always think with this type of share (probably all aim shares really ) it is best to assume that whatever time scales are suggested,things will take longer in practice and indeed may not happen at all.

please point to the exact RNS and the precise wording thereof which states that fum said the EMA would get back to them by september. i think we can all agree that FUM have stated that the 3rd FDA meeting has been fixed for october. the last time i checked october had 31 days, any one of which constitutes october by any conceivable definition. so it would be reasonable to expect some update during novembe but not "by november". alsp please stop posting nonsense about a pharma partner by november.no one is seriously expecting that and it has not been promised by FUM or even suggested as possible. straw man tactics.

agreed B_E. fum did say in july that they would update the market at the time of their interim results, which they duly did. all on track but as you rightly suggest nothing of substance to say at that point.completely agree re FDA meeting date.they have stated it has been fixed for october and absolutely nothing to suggest it will be postponed. simple tendentious, or more probably duplicitous tosh .of course there are risks but lets at least stick to the facts.

bignose/dougie, the lack of competent management is one reason why i am interested and hopeful that the DLI proposal goes through.one thing is clear that however much we, as shareholders, may fulminate at the bod and gibson in particular,one thing is abundantly clear.mellon is not going to get rid of him as things stand. i completely agree that in most other companies he would have gone but he hasn't.however if we get other directors with reasonable holdings in their own right then there is some (probably only very small i admit) prospect of pressure to change, or at least produce some improved s/p performance. it probably won't happen of course and we may have to suffer the irony that after years of underperformance militating towards replacement ,he may be saved and rewarded by FDA approval in a couple of years or so. still if that happens it will be an irony that i could live with. time will tell.

i don't have a problem with posters referencing the addressable market. one needs keep it in perspective of course and appreciate that one can so almost anything with the figures. that said if one bears in mind that 1% of the addressable market figure given by ananda (which i am happy to accept as I'm just making a abroad point) is $56m then it does lend perspective to the potential. all a question of risk v reward really.
