agree very much with your post about the webcasts bunco. could be wrong of course but i don'tfeel they would schedule them for separate days if the news was negative.

well i can't argue with that bignose. probably just straw clutching on my part!

agree with that bignose.volume at close was very small.no surprise to see all the options accepted.what I'm not clear about tbh is why they have to be accepted,rather than just granted.i assume its because the options are granted in effect in lieu of something else (salary?) so the recipients' agreement is required before they can be granted. if so its a very small positive as it suggests the recipients think the shares are potentially a better bet.could be completely wrong of course.

thanks for the thought albert. i really do think this is a seismic move by melody.no idea where we will be post suspension,and it may take a while for the full implications of all this to be fully appreciated, but it is looking very positive imo.

keith you are too kind,but thanks .lets hope the latest new idea does not deliquesce into oblivion this week also. for be me not so much from the perspective that it might a missed commercial opportunity, as I've no idea whether "longevity" is going to be a successful area or not to be involved in, but rather to avoid further reputitional damage that another failed enterprise might involve. fingers crossed for wednesday.gla

Well ORLM that is a very interesting thought and i entirely accept the we do not know the details of the financial mechanics.whether what you suggest is possible I'm not sure,but I'm certainly no expert. the RNSs certainly refer to the placing and subscription being taken up by existing and new investors,so not sure how the mechanics would work.i do find the absence of any more TR1s puzzling now i come to think about it.i would emphasise that I'm not remotely worried about how it is being structured.if it can be done without further dilution great,but for the moment I'm keeping my expectations fairly modest and personally i do expect further dilution,although i am hoping and expecting the synergy of the combined entity at least to equal and probably outweigh any negative dilution effect.just musing of course.

ORLM interesting thought, but i don't think it can be. the recent placing was ,in effect, the means of raising the cash element of the T/O consideration. the shares which have been placed are now owned by the acquirers ,whoever they are,and have been paid for. the share consideration element for theT/O will involve the issue of new shares (and hence some element of dilution) to the real networks shareholders, as and when the necessary documents and resolutions have been prepared and passed. just my opinion of course and could be wrong.

morning henry.thanks for the reply.obviously i have lost the plot. not only did i fail to see the september RNS when i checked before posting yesterday,but i also see the when the RNS was originally posted i actually saw it and commented on it,but had forgotten. apologies. as to Ross Creek good question. it's a bit odd as you would imagine the april update of the significant shareholders was done to reflect the new ross creek holding. presumably just an error but i may email the company secretary for clarification if i get a chance over weekend. no obvious look between ross creek and the other large holders.

evening henry.very good question.by "news"i was solely referring to news of the napster deal as such and certainly wouldn't exclude the possibility of news on other aspects.im wondering if i have missed something here s I've seen the details of dollens and davis capital's participation in the placing, but i didn't know we had any announcement re schroders increasing. perhaps you could point it out for me if you have the chance. as to the substantial balance as yet unaccounted for, i have no idea. in view of the amount you would certainly expect one or more TR1s,but conversely we are well past the normal time limits for such announcements,so it's a bit odd. so far as I'm aware the normal disclosure rules apply even when in suspension although i may be wrong.so yes very good question.very interested to hear any views.

D-Geeman no reason to expect any news for a while.indeed it would be very surprising to get any before the formal announcement of the admission document, which is anticipated by end of november, so probably unlikely to be published in practice for a while yet . there may be some update in the results due in next coupe of weeks or so ,but probably just to refer to it as being ongoing. just my opinion of course and could be wrong.

certainly hope you are right bignose. onward and upwards as you say.
