well i certainly can't top your post Pete,but out of general interest if anyone wants to look,Telit has received a preliminary approach from Dbay to acquire it. there they have 11.53% and the formal "put up or shut up "process has just started. there is another interested party as well.not suggesting the situation is in any way analogous to here (telitl is a very much larger company) but may be interesting to see how it pans out. not invested in telit and have only seen this from a poster on ADVFN.

it would depend,i imagine,on what interest if any DBay have expressed.everuone knows they are increasing.presumably ,in view of sykes comments about them ,they have not made any approach ,even an informal one.i personally see slaters purchase as no barrier to anything happening now at any time.just my opinion.

well keith i am reminded of the old adage that "Rome was not built in a day" and think how grateful the Romans must have been that the building contract was not granted to regent, as they would still be waiting for them to finish!..seriously i would also not be surprised at further delay although if there is i would then be seriously concerned that it has encountered some insurmountable problem.surely 3 postponements is sufficient for anyone. we shall find out tomorrow

mildly interesting action at close. berenberg moved to 31p on bid and now on 34p on ask.

well that would certainly make it interesting.if this is successful it could certainly generate significant interest for other acts i imagine.

out of 25 trades so far today 15 have gone through at 32p exactly midway between bid and ask.just saying.

all very interesting LF.i don't profess to understand exactly what they are doing,but clearly some level of interactivity is going to be attractive,as this is what sets have been lacking.

very interesting comments cureboy.being cynical i don't suppose he could say they are worried, but all we can do is await developments. thecomments re FSP are not particularly encouraging, but if DBay do start accumulating again we may have a different take. just my opinion.
