afternoon private ryan. good to hear from you and i hope you are well. not sure i will ever recover from mtfb but life goes on and it was/is an experience which has taught me something. anyway on to POLX. i am loath to offer any advice as such as i really wouldn't like to be responsible for any investment decisions which go wrong (i know you will make your own mind up, but you know what i mean). that said i will say that i am a very recent investor here and i was concerned that i might have missed the boat. normally i wouldn't consider investing where a company has experienced the very significant S/P increases as polx has here, but after much though i decided that there is still plenty of scope for further rises. in particular here i feel there is a genuine prospect of a T/O at some point. of course we hear talk of T/Os all the time with small bios and mostly it's just panglossian nonsense. here however i think it is more realistic when taking note of Braccos involvement and particularly bearing in mind the chairman's history. just speculation of course but i do feel it's quite positive. that said i have only invested a modest amount (although i did have a small top up yesterday).its nothing like what i had in MTFB and is an amount I'm comfortable with risk wise, rather than feeling vulnerable or over extended. time wise i think you are correct. theNDA submission was announced on the7th oct. the FDA have 60 days to decide on the application category and if granted priority status the review period would be 6 months, so could know outcome by about end of june if all goes well. as i say I've only been invested a short while and am happy to be corrected by anyone with a longer time scale of involvement etc.whatever you decide PR i wish you good luck.

morning bignose.thats very interesting thanks (and thanks pom ). you can see why a tie in of this sort would be seen as pretty much essential and a positive step.i agree it would suggest the deal is still on (indeed according to the journo it has already taken place! lol). i realise we have differing views about the desirability/merits of the proposed deal, but for completeness sake i would mention that i had an email on Thursday from the Young.AI team advising me that they have added some features to the app and fixed some bugs. in particular they have upgraded their blood test analysis feature, so that it will accept test reports from any lab, not just their partner labs, provided it is in english. i only mention this as it does at least suggest some positive proactive approach. who knows though!

ndr50 thanks for your comments .i agree that this is one which will simply have to be put to the empirical test, which is, i suppose, what the trial is all about. fingers crossed then.

interesting and incisive question BE, imo. the size of trial seems perhaps to be a bit of a double edged sword. good from the perspective of low cost, but possibly risky in terms of results. i do also have some concerns as to whether the doubling of the time period may reveal a diminution in efficacy over time.risk versus reward as always.

obviously they have been reading my latest literary offering, "Necromancy. The Dark Art of Investing". i only mention it because of the reference to christmas shopping,as it is now available in all good bookshops in time for Christmas. i expect to be a bestseller, particularly with the AIM investment community.on a serious note my feeling and its just a feeling with no logical or rational basis to it, is that if we can reach and maintain say 0.2hkd,then it would form a decent base to push forward on in the event of any positive news re china,FDA europe etc.just musing aloud,but bearing in mind that a couple of months ago i was saying we were basically dead in the water, i do feel that sentiment has improved somewhat. let us hope it is not a case of famous last words!lol

morning bignose.been waiting see where s/p finished.not too bad at all, as we always seem prone to profit taking after the peak. possibly relief that it looks like it's falling through ,but no real action yesterday even though the delay was known. i agree with what you said yesterday in effect , that its simply impossible to know what is going on. when the deal was announced there was not much reaction the day after, but then on the 4th sept whoosh! why? there has been no notifiable position taking .anyway glad to see at least some signs of life.

very interesting take bignose. technically the category of recipient is a bit wider (it can include service providers and the bod does i think have a bit of discretion as to recipients) but essentially your line of thinking is very intriguing..

morning all.so bignose your prediction of possible market indifference to the delay was correct.let us hope it is indicative of market focus on the prospects of fortacin as the real area of importance, which of course it is.

also Stageit have been referenced before and whilst not wishing to be overly dismissive ,it doesn't look to me as though their offering is really comparable. not clear to me that they actually stage or structure performances, but looks as though they simply offer low key platform for individual offerings (see reference to laptops). i could be wrong of course.

well its what we are all still hoping for .always a good idea to remember how small our M/C is when viewed from the perspective of even modest potential.
