Nothing new in there. Unfortunately, still mentioning a 'farm out' at SM, even after 2 years with '10 interested parties'. The drilling at SM not going to happen until end of '21, so no need to fund raise for that - yet, and at that time, hopefully, LNG plant will be up, running, and producing income. The 'meeting' with SAG almost certainly included all of the points raised in the rns, and I don't think Trellis can offer anything not covered in the rns. Some 'meat on the bones' on the fiasco of the 'sale' would be welcome, but unlikely. As a LTH with 'high' average, I shall desist in buying more at this time, since there there is a greater chance of 'bad' news, than 'good' news, forthcoming for some considerable time. It is definitely now a share to forget, and look at , probably once a month.

It was very refreshing to listen to an OnG man, rather than a bean counter with his head up his arris. Also, not a mention of the 'take over' engineered by the 'deal maker'. Good news. We are, however, in for a very long haul, again, and longer than the '12-18 months'. We do however, have a plan. LNG plant, get cash coming in, get to 1st gas, and still explore, and hope to find a few significant commercial fields, which could see the sp get toward 20p. This would still only value the company at less than £250M, but it would be at a level at which some of us can 'get out' significantly better off than at present, and for others, the potential that a few very significant finds might even propel the sp toward 50p, valuing the company at c£1/2B. But that is likely to be 5 years away, and in that time a lot can happen to the POO and NG, and the extent of the EV revolution on oil consumption will be better known. The impact of CV19 is going to be around for some considerable time yet, certainly until a working vaccine is on the market, and the sp is likely to be volatile for some time. I am more confident now after hearing from Graham, but will wait before averaging down.
Unlike some on here, I very much hope we never here from crude again, and how refreshing the board is without dumb and dumber.

Oil is priced so low at present it will gain popularity with 'big' energy consumers, since. unfortunately, it is still money which makes The World go around. Second is the nightmare of stupid Americans re-electing Trump for a second term. He initially called CV19 a 'Democratic hoax', which his supporters deny, although he is on camera saying it. He, and his supporters are liars. He is removing 'green' regs. on energy, even in California, by far the 'greenest' State. He is a danger, not only to America, but to The World.,

There has been nothing to suggest the divi is being scrapped. If a RNS is issued to that effect, watch for the sp to be hammered. I believe that RDS have sufficient resources and 'irons in the fire' to weather both storms. Oil and CV19.

Besides the obvious message to Putin by MBS ( Mhmd B Salah, Defacto King KSA), ' Dont mess with me', it is a back door way to also 'kill' the USA shalers, without ostensibly 'upsetting his 'pal' Trump The Liar. Putin has $b's of personal wealth, and will not back down to provide any comfort for his population. The loss in oil revenue will hurt Russia. KSA has the lowest extraction cots on the planet, and is still generating profit at these low levels, although it will stall any attempt to further bring Aramco to The Market. KSA has huge spendings on defence and infrastructure and extravagant cash award to Saudi National for a variety of reasons. Hopefully CV19 will be over in 3-4 months, I believe the 'spat' may be a lot longer. RDSA's huge cash generation is mainly from fuel sales to end users. With travel being reduced to an absolute bare minimum, cash inflow is going to be decimated. The divi payment is obviously in danger of being drastically reduced, or even stopped.

Scoobydoo. RDS have not said it will not pay a divi, but only that it will stop the scrip alternative, which obviously increases the number of shares in issue, and it makes good sense, since it it is stopping the scrip, to stop the share buyback programme.

I have been hyper -critical of The Failures tenure for years, and his cohort of apologists. However, I have always believed in the asset, and have been critical of some of the decisions of this present BOD post The Failures resignation as CEO. The appointment of an OnG man in a key role is vitally important to SOU, and I believe, as expressed in my earlier post, that we have at least now a fighting chance. I typed this very slowly since I also believe you cannot read quickly.

It's going to be a long haul, (again), but at least there is a workable plan to 1st gas, which always should have been the goal. The main problem goes back to the decision to place a bean counter in charge of an OnG exploration company. And there were a few idiots on this board who not only welcomed the appointment, but effused at length about his abilities. And non of them feel any shame. lol. At least now we have an OnG man making decisions. It is a rocky road, but one, where I now believe this BOD, will do their utmost to build, not only a production company, but, in time (12-18 months?), to re-explore the asset, and get us near to a minimum of 5TCF. This will be Happy Days and a million miles from the present World situation. Everyone take great care, and wash, wash, wash.

It is highly unlikely that the 'deal' will proceed before May 12, so both The Failures and Mitcheners 'change of ownership' pay deals are out. I can see The Failure, running around like a rabid infested dog, trying to find anybody with no brains, and enough cash to lend to the undisclosed co. to get 'the deal' done before 12 May. I also hope that The Failure is persona non grata at Sou HQ.

RDS have been at the forefront in investment in 'green' energy. It is by far the main producer of H2 on the globe, albeit from 'cracking' naptha, or the steam reformation of Methane. Unfortunately, with fossil fuel prices so low now, it is vastly more economic to produce H2 from FF's cf to other methods. Naturally this spat between KSA and Russia which is driving POO down, will end, but when is a a tricky problem. It must be hurting Russia big time, but Putin, with his $Bs in the bank, will personally sit it out at the expense of his people. It will also be closing down many USA shale fields, which, ironically,is a big plus for Putin. It's probable thats most USA 'shalers' can 'sit it out', since the majority of bank owed debt is payable next year, not this.

Decent post Swindon, but( a big but), I hope that the BOD, with SCH and ONHYM, will develop the LNG plan to 1st gas. Of course, the 'outlying' event of CV19 will put back any development on this for ???. It is a possibility that the company will fold, and /or be bought for peanuts. I look at an on-line GCA blog group in UK, 'HealthUnlocked', and yesterday, it was posted that a member on immuno suppressants has recovered from CV19 infection. It was not reported what the treatment was, and if it included ventilation. But at least, we can recover. Good luck and keep safe. BTW. There are many people carrying on 'as normal', on the basis that they are healthy and fit, and if they contract, will get over it in days. I believe that producing 'small' amounts of H2 per plant'day, about 200Kg, should be seen as a very useful 'by-product'. I believe the 'raison d'etre ' of DMG is a productive disposal of non-recyclable plastic waste. In yesterdays budget, the Govt. announced a £200 per ton charge on companies who do not have a minimum of 30% recyclable plastic in their products. This will inevitably reduce the amount of 'waste' plastic, but not to an extent where it can affect PHE's plans.
