As you know from another bb, I do not live in UK, but a 3rd W Country. I hope the UK and other Countries can catch up soon, but I speak with, and see, all my family and friends, on 3 different Continents on a weekly basis, and daily if I so wished using my PC. I can even sign contracts using Docusign without leaving home and not using Postal or any other mail delivery service. I know that some Companies in UK must be using these or similar technologies since they are still in business and trading. I now know that HL is an Oz, but I believe he must be have seen or heard of some communication technologies in his lifetime. However, the EML's website inability to send a 'contact form', and make it insulated speaks volumes. I have not tried telephoning. Keep safe one and all, and wear a mask.

Hi Audible. We are both familiar with Morocco for the same reason. It wants inward investment, is not afraid at Govt. level of investing in projects, and gives tax holidays. Everything a company would want in a foreign market. This begs the question I have raised several times over the past week or so. The ROR, IRR and NPV are all excellent for EML. So why is it going to take , at least, another 6 months before any news on Permitting and Finance.?, and that target in 'ambitious', it may be considerably longer. The purpose of my posts have not been to suggest investors should sell, but merely to explain why the sp has been slowly heading South since HL announced his 'ambitious' target. Would have been better if he had kept his mouth shut. There is long term because of size pf project, logistics, finance and many others,, and then there is long term because of intrinsic problems within the Company and the abilities of PDMR's. There are posters on this bb who could sort out finance within a few weeks given the excellent finances the project can deliver.

Didn't know he's an Oz?. The last Oz CEO I had the misfortune of investing in, on his 'expertise, was the guy from Sagasco?, Oz company, and part owned by Empyrian. According to this 'expert', after half a dozen drill results for NG in Sacramento Basin, California, he proclaimed 'significant' gas finds, and the best he had ever sen in his long history. That was 3 years ago, and most people on here have farted more gas than has come out of the ground. Unfortunately, sounding positive is a trait of PDMR's. I am still concerned, that with all his 'positivity' and 'excellent' IRR, NPV etc. he can't sell it to the money market. Also, he stated that the Co. will be pursuing debt finance shortly, but, it was posted t'other day that the Co. had already had interest shown in this respect in June last year? Good liars need good memories. The sp will probably continue to drift South unfortunately, with a 3% NPV sp, cf to peers, allegedly at 30% NPV present sp. Something isn't right. The Market doesn't normally get things this wrong.

Not encouraging when the Co. sees fit to tweet about other companies but has nothing to offer it's own investors. Contradictory statements by HL re; timelines for Planning and Finance, either 4th Q this year or 1stQ next year. Couple that with the schoolboy error of issuing a RNS with fractions of a penny rather than fraction of a £. At the very least a RNS should be checked for accuracy, and suggest the proof reader didn't know the difference. All very disappointing, and hence the continuing drop in sp.. Will take some off the table here. If it makes 10p, it will make 20p.

Sportability. A simple question then. Why has HL said it is ambitious to get funding buy Q1 2021. ?

A poster earlier, who I think started this header, stated that HL in June last year said a bank was interested in supplying the finance for the project. This definitely appears to say 'no hurry then'/

As for lame comments about why I am invested here. It is to make a profit. One can be critical of a company and still believe (hope) that the outcome will be positive. There are at least a dozen or so listed companies whose posters state ' this must be the best company on AIM'. Most will fail. And everyone who posts on here will be aware of a failed company where the CEO's have told blatant lies to feather their nests.

First, apols for delay in replying, been away from board for some days.

I did not imply, or intend to imply that HL said he was in 'no hurry'. That was my observation based on his comment that the timeline for permitting and finance P and F) was 'ambitious' for Q1 2021. I did inadvertently state Q2 2021. However, I believe my sentiments to be true. Both ( P and F) are crucial for the project to proceed. As I have alluded to previously, Optimistic Micky1 has referred many times to the excellent NPV and ROC of the project, but HL, from his aformentioned statement, obviously has difficulty in convincing the 'money market' and believes it could be, ambitiously, another 8 months to secure funding. This should have been worked on with potential lenders, as soon as some preliminary capital cost figures were available. Various posters are of the opinion that this share is a 'slam dunk', and it's only a matter of waiting before the big pay day arrives.This is not the case. SXX is an example of what can go wrong when funding becomes an issue. And, as we have recently been informed, their CEO pocketed £1.3M. I'll say it again. The main objective of a CEO and for other senior managers in an AIM company, is to procure a financial legacy for themselves and their family. If the companies share holders also do well, it's a bonus. The sp is at this level I believe because news is many months away, or at least, news on P and F. Brokers forecasts and comments should always be put where they deserve to be, in a bin. NPV figures can be 'massaged'. When there is a host of drill results or other measurement methods, figures can be put out which can reflect better than the overall implications. The money market may be 'wary' of the project. It is important for all investors to be aware that AIM has a plethora of failed hopes, dreams and in some cases, lost small fortunes. It is better to be cynical than over optimistic. In my opinion.

I believe the sp fallback has 2 reasons. First is the recent fund raise, at about what the sp is now. It is normal after a discounted fund raise for the sp to gravitate to that price.
Secondly, we learnt from HL recently that the Co. is in no hurry for either permitting or raising finance. HL said 2nd Q 2021 was 'ambitious' for securing both. Micky is the eternal optimist, and even though he has posted many times about the excellent ROC and NPV for the project, HL appears to have a problem in conveying that to the money market, or wherever he deems an acceptable place to raise the required capital. Raising capital is the trigger that will see a significant rise in sp, but I expect there to be more downward pressure on the sp as the Summer rolls on, and even into the Autumn and Winter, unless there is solid news on both fronts.

These are all 'off book' trades, and come under the headings of FOK, limit or stop orders, and do not appear as 'trades' as shown on here, and what we were discussing yesterday in relation to the 3m -ve trade KTF pointed out. For your information, and Trellis, once the 'accept' button has been hit by a trader, it is a contract and is irrevocable, and cannot be cancelled. Please see below:
Off Book Share Trade
An 'off-book' trade refers to the process of trading shares away from an exchange or regulated body. They are usually executed via the over-the-counter (OTC) market. Off-book transactions are made directly between two parties, outside or 'off' of the order books.

It's the lowest discount I have ever seen for a placing, so well done in that respect. However, it is dilution, which the CEO said he was against. If there is no drop in sp, then the MC will increase by 18% when shares hit register, which should put off the 'many interested parties' in buying us out. lol. As Trellis said, the raise is primarily to pay salaries. CEO needs to get his finger out. We have seen the mouth watering menu, and now we want to see food being brought to the table.

These 'cancelled' trades you have shown, what companies do they refer to? I just want to check to see if they appear as a -ve trade on the that companies share dealing site? Thnx in advance.

I'm pretty certain that a trade cannot be cancelled after it has been executed. Cancelled trades , imo, are only relevant when leaving an 'order' with a broker,' fill or kill' ( FOK), 'limit' or 'stop' orders, which may be cancelled with the broker before execution. Once executed, it done and dusted. Since these are 'reported' trades, by definition they cannot be subject to cancellation. All imo of course.

It should be common knowledge that MM's do not record if the transaction undertaken is a buy or sell. What we see as a record of the transaction depend only if it is above or below the mid-point of the sp. Investors who deal in multiples of the 'market size', in the case of SOU this is 150,000 shares, invariably have to 'negotiate the buy'sell with their broker. This can be because of many factors, to including stock availability. Only the trader, Broker and MM know for certain the 'colour' of the transaction. When a 'negative' trade is seen, this is normally a 'short' position being taken. New rules mean that one can only take a 'short' hedged position if one already has a 'long' position. It would appear that the 2 transactions referred to are a buy of 4m shares, and a short of 3m, but again, this is not certain. It begs the question, why simply not go 'long' for a million shares. The answer I believe is to do with 'fees'.

Yes, I am in PHE, as are many other EQT holders. I have written critical articles about PHE. The comment about 'ramping' unrelated govt. green energy packages in untrue and I suggest you either read my article again, with the addendum ( the 'bit' at the end') and the govt. article.

I believe there has been many a discussion on these boards about Mitcheners involvement,or not, in site selection, and who put the 'stick' in the ground. I am fairly certain, now we have heard about the 'authoritarian' management of The Failure, that he alone decided where the stick should go, and as far away as possible from existing 'finds', in order to 'prove up' his giant field nonsense. What is certain, is that both PRD and SDX have an enviable success rate on commercial finds, albeit not at the flow rates we came to expect from the The Horst, but commercial nevertheless. I do hope that SOU at some time will use technology to identify drill sites, and not solely rely on the 'failed' one, in the case of SOU, of 2D seismology.

BTW Lunsam, you waste figures are misleading, 1) because it is the total waste produced, which includes construction waste, which in the main, is not recyclable as EfW. 2) USA is one country, Europe is approaching 30 countries. The only success to date for EQT, on a MWe scale is in USA. not Eu. The list you put out is a wish list. None may come to fruition, or all of them. I prefer the technology of PHE since it has H2 as its prime product. EQT has syngas, which, when oxygenated, produces green house gases, which have to be captured. PHE is 'greener', but for the majority of investors the sp is the most important factor. Depends on our own personal 'green' credentials.

I don't see the point of your post. The suit is for patent infringement, and the other two parties you mentioned do not hold any patents on gasification. They are,presumably, part of the suit because they are 'interested' parties.
In relation to the second part of your post, it was not 'dressed up' as USA v Ireland, in fact Ireland was not mentioned. In my opinion, the post would be relevant if EQT were an Outer Mongolian company. USA , under Trump, is going through 'everything American is great', and Republican lawmakers have joined the ride. It's appears that Biden's economic plan is also isolationist, and 'Buy American'.
Lunsam posts that 'only' 5% of EQT's business is in USA. Well, that's on project, the one under discussion here. However, since the USA produces, by far, the most waste on the Planet, it's potentially the biggest market. However, the ROW is a huge market, but to date, EQT have been singularly successful in not bringing agreement to completion. Billingham is a big test. And beware of Greeks bearing gifts. lol.

Lunsam mentioned EoY before worrying all is not well if no firm orders received, I believe the sp will collapse well before then on no' good' news. I'm invested here, as well as PHE, but am concerned about both.
