The purchase of Pyromex in 2012 was to acquire their 'plastic to gas' technology, which PHE renamed DMG ( Distributed Modular Generation). I do not think it was specifically for H2 generation, since DMG produces Syngas, which then needs further refining to H2. As has been mentioned, White family owned W2T, and hence became major PHE S/H after it was purchased. If one takes a 'hard line' with PHE management, then it would not be a glowing report, after a dozen years, and now, tests are being undertaken to evaluate the 'system'. Of course, the debacle with Peel wasted 3 years, and was doomed to failure from the start. An incredibly bad management decision. However, we are here on threshold of major operational news. After 12 years, it had better be, not good, but very, very good.

This is where an OnG man was needed, to plan the monetisation of these finds and get gas to market. Not for parsons though, he went on a 'wildcat drill' campaign. One failure might have redirected some CEO's plans, but Parsons was so into himself, he drilled failur , and then another one, and the SP collapsed froma peak of a pound ps to pennies. He left a very rich guy after paying himself million pound bonuses. I have trouble believing InJames etc 'sell' at 80p ish, since his hero sated many times it was a £10 sp share. At 80p sp, SOU had not a drill failure. Sorry for diatribe, but lesson is this, the CEO is of mega import.

One can certainly hold off buying 'til test results expected, probably end Feb., but that always runs the risk of a 'positive early test appraisal'. . The proposed liaison with Wastefront on SAF appears to be damp squib as far as moving sp goes. Market not impressed. The end line is this, if investing, and timing was easy, we would all be very rich.

It is concerning that the sp is in decline, since we are 'on the cusp' of results from testing at Bridgend. The volumes do not suggest insider trading. I would have been expecting a steady rise. at least until the 'generally expected results' date of mid to end Feb. The markets do get it wrong. I hope.

Very interesting that IAG are involved, and it would appear that ff derived feedstock is acceptable as SAF. Make sense. It has to be a better option than using 'new' extracted crude oil to produce AF.

The interesting part for me on the Wastefront web site was the use of pyrolysis to transform tyres to oil, and then refine this to SAF. PHE is going the way of waste to Syngas and the F-T to Fuel and further refined to SAF. It is worthy of note that most waste tyres go to India, where there a hundreds of artisans making heating oil from these tyres in China supplied 'Off The Shelf' pyrolysis plants. Huge C footprint and no regulation from India Govt. Solid to liquid to liquid is commercially more viable than solid to gas to liquid for obvious reasons. I'll be watching if Wastefront applies for IPO. It must be stressed that the chemical reactions and thermal considerations for waste to SAF present considerable hurdles.

My comment on SAF from FF derived material, was taken from Research when itwas announced by CAA that a percentage of all commercial aircraft jetfuel must be SAF, and that the SAF should not have a C footprint, as it would have using waste plastic as the feedstock. My interest in this was perked, when I read ( i believe the source was a post on this site), when an Irish outfit Trifoil, issued a statement saying it was mfrg SAF from its Irish base, with waste plastic as the feedstock, using Pyrolysis. I contacted PE about this, and asked that since the feedstock was FF derived, it should not be called AF. His reply was that 'discussions with relevant bodies was ongoing to clarify matters. I have not received a reply from him on my latest mail to him. So, last Sept, the CEO of PHE was also in the camp of waste plastic as a feedstock was not a 'given' for SAF. Of course, it is a dynamic situation.
