Well done with the Tech stocks, good luck with Helix.

I have a few BP and they really messed up for years especially ESG but two things they have that DEC does not is an activist investor to hold the boards feet to the fire and a new people in charge which seem to understand the situation better, add in the green energy chief will soon be gone but it is a difficult time for O&G. The best thing BP have done is pull out a lot from the UK, O&G in the UK is just a way to give your investments to the government.

IMO there will be some rerating of DEC's SP if Rusty can control his urges for buying but will not be fast due to the share overhang and total lack of trust that DEC will do the right thing for shareholders.

Just depends on your risk profile, I like spread the risk and hedge my bets, main strategy is companies not doing business in the UK except ones being taken over or mange winddown as large discount to NAV as UK market is such a mess. Although AI will be where a lot of money is made I think it could be like to dot com bubble and a lot will lose to leave a few making fortunes but I will go with energy companies, O&G and Uranium as well as miners.

I spread mine around, in order of the largest first ENOG, ADIG (winding down), AGNC (US mortgage company. bought in $s with some of my DEC dividends) and BHP. First 2 much large than the last 2, all good dividends, AGNC may be a risk but dividend of 17%pa paid monthly won't need too many hopefully to offset potential falls but going up at present.

Good news about SP rise but how much of this is due to BBs and can they keep it up? Anyway happy my buys around £9.10 are looking good just a small trade around £10.30 yet to come good but of course my purchases from a time ago still well below water. Others shares I mentioned here I bought during market dip are all doing well, just need this to continue as little in cash now and took the decision not to trade but jump in and hold so hopefully market adjusts back up. Difficult time all in all for most of us but at last almost everything going in the right direction.

It was at close but earlier it was out.

HH now 3.312, Up +0.198 (+6.36%), onwards and upwards.

Strange UK SP below the US SP, not seen a gap like this for a very long time.

The great thing at present the more GG trashes DEC the more the SP rises

Does anyone know if stamp duty is charged when moving the properties into the JV.

If not then explains why a 3% premium was paid as it is less than the stamp duty.

Just checked and you are correct, withdrawn in the UK because of compliance, before and for some time during covid (zoom meeting) used to go to a trading club where most people were using it and praised it including some professionals. However the club came to an end because less interest in zoom meeting so lost touch. There will be a number of people very disappointed, will see what is being used when I bump into one of these people at some point.

Another great win for the FCA taking away a lot of peoples favourite trading analysis product.

Should have added that some of the shares may well have been sold at a loss as price went up to 1050 but there is only so much you can sell before you trash the price so suspect there was not a lot of time to get rid of that many before SP crashed again.

I don't know for a fact but as the SP was below the offer price I am not sure many people would have taken this up, also there was not the usual announcement about the raise giving information on take up etc, would have expected an announcement saying it was successful with x% taken up. Add in the SP dropped like a stone after which means someone was dumping on the market and the likely candidate would be the underwriter until SP dropped too low. For me the greatest piece of evidence is the radio silence after the fund raise and still no information, first time I have seen this and I am almost certain if the take up was high DEC would have been shouting from the rooftops about how successful it was.

Good TA, most people I know using this are using VestorVest and works for them. However a lot of this analysis (although in general good) cannot and does not take account of external factors, e.g. HH prices, chances of new acquisition, share overhang, director buys, changes in Trump's policy etc, but in a sense will be self fulfilling as there is trading based on this, in it's simplest form is let the trend be your friend.

Further progress for PayPoint Group

PayPoint Plc today issues an unaudited post-close trading update for the financial year ended 31 March 2025.

The Group anticipates that it will deliver a financial performance in line with expectations with underlying EBITDA of circa £90 million, underlying PBT in line with expectations and year end net debt below £100 million. Consistent with the three year share buyback programme announced on 1 July 2024, as of market close on 17 April 2025, a total of 2,227,615 shares have been purchased at a total value of £15.9 million.

PayPoint Plc’s preliminary results for the financial year ended 31 March 2025 will be announced on 12 June 2025 along with an update on Group strategy and our financial objectives for the three-year period to FY28, including confirmation of the next stage of our share buyback programme.

But there is no growth after inflation (unusual for Tech company) and yield of 1.75%, can think of a lot better place to put my money. Bought at fund raise for £7.25 hoping for good things and all I have had are loses and disappointment, just glad only have a very small amount invested here.

IMO these acquisitions were crazy given what we know about Trump and cheap energy (he’s been saying this before got elected) and is probably why there are so many keen sellers.

On the upside DEC will have less regulations and perhaps less tax and AROs are gone while Republicans in power.

Many of my shares are up in a short time, I bought ENOG and BHP on a lows and they are doing well so DEC rising is IMO just the markets in these type of shares and add in BBs which I doubt will continue for long. As you say and I have been banging for a long time that acquisitions must stop for a time and just perhaps the large BBs are a sign that not storing up cash for another one, we can but hope.

Unfortunately I am not so positive about the shares used in the acquisitions and stuck with the underwriter. I believe the underwriter will want shot of these ASAP and the others probably did not want these shares in the first place but came with the deal and after seeing Rusty in action will be even more keen to get out.

Our fate is in the hands of HH and Rusty ability to exercise control, not a great place to be but at least my buys around £9 are showing a little profit and good yield at these prices.

I have put a lot of cash in the market on the lows (not in DEC) and for the time being will sit and wait as very little room to trade (as want to keep some cash) until/if I get some profits from pervious DEC buys.

Good job all of my companies are not like DEC and like Trek playing REITs/ITs with high discount, waiting for cash from 3 which have accepted takeover offers and once through will give me some more wriggle room for trading but will only commit small amounts for DEC trades as do not want to stuck if Rusty announces another acquisition.

Agree with you analysis will add to NAV also proves assets can be sold at NAV or a little above, also in the management fee which is now in house adding a another stream of income.

From Andrew Bailey's comments UK interest rates set to fall but will the gilt rates fall as much which if anything is more important for SUPR but overall I am sure this will help.
