Subaru is continuing to highlight biometric technologies in its 2023 product lineup. The company recently unveiled the 2023 edition of its Legacy midsize sedan, and confirmed that the vehicle would feature the company’s DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System.

The 2023 version of EyeSight Driver Assist improves on its predecessors with a wider field of view and better control software. Those who are interested can upgrade to an EyeSight Assist Monitor that provides drivers with a more intuitive heads-up display.

The 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban full-size SUVs are the latest vehicles to get General Motors' Super Cruise hands-free driver-assist system.

Chevy confirmed the availability of Super Cruise for the two SUVs in a press release Friday.

Already available on the related Cadillac Escalade SUV and Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks, as well as a handful of other GM models, Super Cruise can control acceleration, braking, and steering on specific stretches of pre-mapped highway. It also uses a driver-monitoring system to guard against misuse and keep drivers' eyes on the road.

GM said in March that it will have a total of 22 vehicles with some form of Super Cruise for the 2023 model year. It also announced some updates at that time, including automatic lane changes and trailering capability for the pickup and SUV models.

In the meantime, the Tahoe and Suburban will get Super Cruise just as Ford rolls out its BlueCruise system on its own full-size SUVs and pickup trucks, including the F-150 and Expedition. The 2022 Lincoln Navigator got the same system, but rebranded as Activeglide.

IT IS HARD to overstate just how big a deal it is that Ford has electrified its F-150 pickup. The F-Series family to which it belongs has been the best-selling vehicle in America for 45 years, with Ford shifting almost 2,500 of them every single day. Or about 103 per hour. F-Series truck sales generate $40 billion in annual revenue; if the line was made by an independent company, it would be bigger than McDonald’s or Nike.

In a perfect world, the battery-powered F-150 Lightning would grasp the baton and run with it as quickly as it launches itself to 60 mph (4.5 seconds, and we’ll be sure to come back to that later). But electric vehicles are not born into a perfect world.

Impressive technical presentations.

In the technical presentations, I was impressed by the range of USAF projects. Optimizing pilot training was a recurring theme, and I saw not one but two presentations involving strapping heart rate, eye-tracking, and other sensors to pilots to try and determine which flight maneuvers were the most cognitively challenging or terrifying.

Its funny with shares, we get excited when goes up & frustrated when goes up, even when we not looking to sell. Its like a comfort blanket i guess.

I spend hours every day reading others research & doing my own for Years and have been all on black for Years now.

Like most waiting for the end game i guess. Like the rain clouds it will pass and iam sure over the next few months news will drop.

Just a shame my top ups have mostly been 7-8.5p recently but iam sure will look back and be happy i did.
