I think Israel is CEO of forum film and Mooky is also involved in the company. CINEWORLD itself is not involved. Being quiet seems to have worked as the sp did not move significantly after the news. Mooky being humble and apologetic in his statements make sense when making a guilty plea.

Aside from the low output from studios, streaming probably took the lion's share of the sparse film output from studios. Especially if they are not confident of cinema's comeback.

Now that the cinema proves to sell well with quality movies, studios will no doubt bring their next products to the bigger screen.

Even netflix is dipping their toes into the cinema window.

As Allkap pointed out, Analysts are pricing in a 25% chance Plex will win full amount in the appeal. Anything lower than the synergies calculations will be a win for cineworld because the full price has been priced in and looming over the SP since december.

As for the 30 Jun 2022 deadline, the information was from the Feb/Mar RNS and may have changed in the interim. The Last RNS about it in May said they obtained a waiver for the GCF in case they fail to make the payment 2 days ago.

The SP closed the day at 0.2505 € which is almost exactly where it started the day.

It's official. There is no RNS on market close and we received only one RNS in June.

The question of Regal Shareholders and RCF Covenant test are both up in the air.

Looking on the bright side, we did not get delisted.

CINE is still a recovery play and the more time passes, the more Box office recovers-The closer we get to proving bankruptcy and dilution is not on the table. The shorts that suppress the SP(they are effectively buy orders) will go away and the real SP relative to earnings will materialize.

So SP can either go up, or go down.
Markets have no Idea what the RNS will be.

We had 7 RNS on May. Many of which were about regal shareholder. The news on paying them off will at least be a non negative news.

We had trading updates in Dec on how revenue was catching up in october.

I see no reason to withhold any update except if you want to keep the SP from moving in either direction.

Cinema got 85% revenue in half the number of movies in june.

We had 3 slow months to start the year but H2 2022 will be more promising. SP is down 80% but revenue is only down 35% YoY vs 2019.

Airlines are paying a premium for the most expensive fuel in the planet. Travel agencies are cancelling flights left right and center because they know flying the holiday goers do not make financial sense.

Demand for travel will only fall the deeper the recession goes.

We are actually 65% BO YoY vs 2019. Must be due to weak Q1. Now we just need to see the margins.

The 700M bill is not final (hence appeal) and will be pending for 1 or 2 years at least.

They stated the base case is 85% of 2019 and we are at around 80%. That may be close enough that the CFO can work his way around the bills.

Majority of the debt are fixed interest rates. In that case, inflation actually works in your favor as long as you can service it.

Squid is now a Cineplex lawyer. This case has been ongoing for years. Plex would have used it in court if it had any merit in the proceedings.

I knew squid wanted to be CINE Ceo. But not this bad. The headline is not as bad as one would think. The case is old and is local to Israel. The sentence is suspended and no one is going to jail.

All it proves is Mooky is just another CEO willing to bend the rules in the name of profit. No major business outlet covered it.
