You get to know a poster superficially from past posts and history... I just find it curious that there is nothing in your history to suggest that you can develop a contact or you have any real decent sources.

In fact in the past you have shot from the hip many times about selling out and Ciz has prevented you investing in other more lucrative investments..

So, I think you're flirting with a little bit of power here (and "I know something you don't know"), but I doubt it's been any more than someone saying Omni has got ahead of themselves a little.

Shame you won't expand on the" weeks or months comment". It would have been decent of you to say whether that was a paraphrase or a verbatim statement.

1) was this purely email contact or was it telephone , and have you talked to this person before?

2) you use the phrase "weeks or months away". What was the exact wording to make you frame that phrase?

Can't really see any reason why you wouldn't answer that, as you decided to use that wording in a public domain..

So either someone at Omni has got over excited about the speed of getting to market...

Or someone at Omni is misdirecting you -unlikely.

Or someone at Omni is correct but Ciz don't like it.

As far as Hogbog's source, I'm guessing it's not much different to yours. A company spokesman for Ciz , or email contact. (Certainly not Allan Syms himself, or Dawn Coverly etc) But this is where the nature of relationships is important and whether you can trust the details.

So the information to Hogbog is also the same as your but from an opposite viewpoint.

Either Ciz is misdirecting Hogbog, because they want to control the narrative and don't like omni treading on toes.

Or Omni has got it wrong...

It does seem strange that Omni would get this information incorrect because they are the horses mouth, figuratively. But again it depends on the level of the source and if they are part of the process.

I'm more intrigued in Bermondsey's level of information..

What your source is telling you, Hogbog , is a simple reiteration of the last RNS. No more information just restating it's going to be Q2.

Yes there is an obvious conflict.

Bermondsey believes launch will be late q1 early q2 or within days.

Hogbog now claims his "source" or "senses" say it is weeks or months away.

" spokesman" not sportsman... Although he may be!

It's impossible to judge the nature of "sources, hearsay, implication, information, disinformation, heard in the pub etc" on here.

Back in the day I would label a "source" as someone with genuine inside information who was trustworthy and the info was likely to be bona fide.

A source would be someone high-up or someone who knew someone high up, or an insider with a grudge etc.

So we've had Bermondsey first hearing things by email? And backed up by a source? Saying CLIA and launch imminent.

Now we've got Hogbog with a "source" who says "weeks or months" away.

Now I've no idea of who these sources are but I'm guessing that they haven't been worked/developed over the phone or in person over a period of months.

I'm guessing from hogbogs past posts that it won't be an insider who he meets secretly .

I'm guessing it's more likely a simple e-mail contact or a company sportsman like Tim Metcalfe etc.

E-mails or official lines are NOT likely to give you anything that is a real inside line - unless you have developed a real relationship over several months.

I started trying to go down that line years back but couldn't be bothered to be honest.

But I can't say for sure that that particular "source" gave me some Duff information that I think they wanted me to post on the here to test me.

So unless , hogbog, you can go slightly further with your information I'm taking it as neutral.

And Bermondsey, if you can add anything to the conversation it would be more than welcomed .

I did actually sell a few yesterday and it was quite hard to get rid of... I don't think there's many MMS on here at the moment.

I'm guessing the next RNS will either be very positive and take by surprise or I think - just a sneaking feeling- there could be a stinging fundrise at some point with the new CEO wanting substantial battle funds for the year ahead.

It depends what contacts he already has and what he intends doing. Let's face it Nigel wasted loads of cash on things like nanogenics etc.. although he was quite frugal in other ways - too slow to really get this going.

That is also my fear, Vince, that Allan Syms simply reports this as a retrospective minor event with little publicity eg "Bio reports the first sales of theCiz1 test" without any fanfare or any blaze of publicity.

You would think it would be harder to get this wrong then get it right as it seems to be an open goal in the PR stakes.

But Alan has proven in the past that he gives little weight to shareholder value.

I think if he got this one wrong it would be conclusive proof that , for whatever reason , he isn't concerned with share value growth..

Or that he is just simply incompetent with PR..

I'm hoping that this won't be the case and and he does the right thing updating the market with CLIA credit, full launch, and then timely updates of sales NHS /Europe, ...but..time will tell.

If it's sales numbers you are waiting for from Bio to put a rocket under the share price, you could be in for a long wait imo! I would take the news of launch, and hopefully the subsequent boost as a positive in its own right. Sales is another issue

A while ago, when we were all speculating on the launch date, I mentioned that I thought they might be waiting for a dual launch gastric /lung.

I'm not sure they were actually waiting for this because I think the delay has been purely down to validating the Ciz lung test, but a dual launch is more powerful publicity wise.

Although I'm not quite sure what Ciz UK gets from the US gastric cancer test alone- I believe that is part of the paltry 1% we are getting from any US sales - unless I've got that wrong and it is still 10%?

Hello everyone , hopefully at the start of a successful journey at last.

I just wonder how this is going to start - are we going to start with some already negotiated partnerships coming along, some more patents and directions for RNA therapeutics...

Will this come with an Almighty initial fundraiser to give the new CEO some financial clout, or I wonder if the CEO already has gone some way to get people on board.

It would also be nice to see the new CEO actually put his hands in his pockets - unlike the old tightwad Nigel, and show some major confidence.

Interesting yet not surprising that Nigel in his valedictory linked-in post, bemoaned the criticism he receives on these boards, yet in true style of the man did not have the magnanimity to express sorrow that many shareholders have lost a shed load of money during his rather ramshackle fumblings in the product department.

I don't think he mentioned the shareholder support that many on here have given him.
