Just watched Directors Talk interview.
I do find this interviewer rather annoying with his staccato rapid "Carry On" intonation abd lack of derp questioning..
BUT - MUCH MUCH BETTER FROM ALLAN SYMS.
He's obviously got the message because the number of times he mentions "explaining to our shareholders" and "communication"...
ALLAN SYMS and TIM - if you're reading , one thing I wish you would explain with more clarity to a lay audience , is : " what exactly is a clinical trial and what does it entail in the context of what you're talking about. Specifics, times, retrospective nature? Sample size etc etc.
Thanks, and much better. More like what shareholders deserve, this last interview, although projected time-frames still vague.
Haven't seen it yet. Will have a watch.
Neil and those who are posted, thanks.
What's your feeling about time scales now, and is there any indication of other cancers and LFT test?
Ps fundraising and trading shareprice. Maybe the Belt and braces Neil mentioned or mates rates deal for a few to get in.
I would think it will double (at least) on unmitigated good FDA news..then, as mentioned, fundraising won't be an issue.
Haven't read enough to know what the chances are of FDA approval. Sometimes FDA come back with extra questions etc.
Hi OAPk, cheers for directing me across here.
Just my two-penneth after reading up for a couple of hours..
I'm often reluctant to jump into a share after such a quick rise..
BUT with the company expecting FDA approval "in Q1" I can see why this has risen at this time.
Bit of brinkmanship/hedging going on here I think.
In the Interim Results 2023 presentation at 38 minutes they admit to needing £8 Million funds.
Now the fundraise in December was for half this amount. Just my opinion but I reckon the BOD is hoping for good FDA results then will raise the extra 4 million at higher level.
In the short term I think this is a bit of a gamble on whether FDA approval is fully given and when.
Longer term they seem to have got a good 2025 ahead of them.
And a message to the CIZ BOD and PR from their new partner in the USA , Dr Ron Greeno:
"In business, credibility is the currency of leadership - tell the truth, tell it all, tell it often, and tell it. yourself."
Ciz ?
Where we stand.
Morpheous123, I share those feelings almost exactly.
Compass out of kilter, a little shaken, new bearings being absorbed, a certain loss of optimism for neartime success, loss of faith somewhat in the BOD, and loss of many £1000s in bank account!
It's almost feels like a new investment - one that armed with all the new information, I probably would invest into, but certainly not the volume I put in.
Timescales now could be anything from several weeks, more likely several months, and possibly a couple of years.
Other external things then become relevant: the changing FDA stance, other potential breakthroughs by other companies , and a potential failure of our own science.
Those calling for a bit of USA razzmatazz - I agree, it would be more than welcomed. However with Bill Behnke signing NDAs and confidentiality agreements with Ciz (he told me this), are we going to get any different in future?!
Overall feeling: rather miffed, especially if we now don't get updates. That would leave us in the same position of not knowing what the heck is going on. And I don't know how you make an investment case without information.
1) Agree that the wording " dependent on high net worth investors" can be read two ways (such is the perennial vagueness of Ciz)..
I read it as being potentially tenuous, but others read with a different angle.
This could be simply down to the semantics of bad wording. (As usual)
2) if this test is successful I would almost think it's inevitable they will look at the NASDAQ/ dual listing.
Not sure if this is a good or bad thing ...opinions anyone?
Anyway after settling down and digesting the RNS, it's not bad..revenue potential a bit vague, but let's get the product working first. Ciz has certainly been liberal with timescales/ progress up to this point, so I do take everything they say with a pinch of salt now.
Could be red either way this one.
Factually, we've gone from saying in the market in the very near term, a tie-up with Biotechne, China etc etc to "milestone payments over 30 months".
Got all the sounds of one of those companies that never quite gets there.
Maybe it will maybe it won't, but certainly not what was on the tin in the last six months.
Not looking for that , Highland.
Looking for Ciz to release accurate factual RNS' on material or price sensitive changes.
Looking for Allan Syms to stop being vague and misleading in interviews.
Looking for more integrity with regular updates - positive or negative.
If you could go back to the Directors Talk interview and find exact timing and quote please.
It will help me when I try to compile some information to formulate questions.
(Any other pertinent stuff along these lines too, cheers)
Thanks
