Note ITM have announced that EDF has engaged them for a north East h2 peoject and it will need a large player with deep pockets here too.

Worth a listen if anyone is in any doubt that the 1.3m in full UK [ not 1.5m in England alone] will not be achieved and that means GDP numbers will not be hit and that means more spending cuts or tax rises are on their way.

Here's another thing - Labour's promise of 1.5m homes in England by the end of the parliament seems to have morphed into 1.3m homes across the UK with that number backloaded.

Everyone with any construction experience knows that they will be lucky if 1m are actually built and how they convinced the OBR that training a number of craftsmen next year will have any material effect , given their demographic is beyond me. Unless of course they plan to use the cohort of builders that have turned up disguised as asylum seekers.lol.

One good thing - overseas aid cut to 0.3% - can't cut it any further because they spend the asylum seeker hotel costs out of that!!

Wtf, she must have bribed the OBR to say everyone will be on average £500 per year better off this year than last. That is obviously a lie, with council tax, energy cost increases, lower benefits , no winter fuel payments and frozen tax allowances. Surely the press will be all over that.

Surin, this is not about management consulting it is about acounting - audit and financial controls - completely different business and usually a completely different business arm. mcKinsey for example don't do financial auditing .

The USA, Russia and corrupt Ukranians will see this company as an easy target to rob - so PI's should be very mindful of the treachery of all the players here imv.

Fair play to the Chancellor , she has seen that the bond markets are losing confidence in her 'growth' plans and started cutting government expenditure to stop them pushing yields higher. Shame she can't claw back the billions sent overseas for net zero or the billions paid to train drivers and the like - but she has made a start. More cuts to follow.

@Bullion, I have noticed that a price rise in Canada often precedes the release of some good drilling results the next day. Obviously coincidence as anything else would be insider trading. we shall see.
