Looks like E47/5001 has been postponed until November - strangely, still referring to 'mention'. Usually expect trial allocation hearing after 4 mentions. Perhaps now linked to E47/5159.

@wentsland - I quite agree - "if it survives that long". The next two quarters will be pivotal, without significance moves forward, the end will come swiftly. However, if those moves do happen, the future should be bright but I will even caveat that with this BoD clowns.

TAD - I did place significant caveats in that post - primarily, everything lining up and better management than the current BoD. It was not based on yesterday's bounce but from a query raised by another member regarding the potential of the company. Nobody, reading my recent posts on this board, could conclude that I do not have an understanding of where this company is currently at. Nobody can argue that the SP reflects the potential of this company, rather it reflects the poor management of the company, the lack of communication and the repeated failure to meet deadlines. Nonetheless, and despite all of that, I still believe the company has significant opportunity to substantially improve its SP, not tomorrow, not next year but, perhaps in 5 to 10 years, if it survives that long.

Perhaps, CJ, but, equally, you have missed the subtle nuances in my reply that indicate I have belief in the company's assets and, thus, its future. I just do not believe in the competencies of the BoD, a belief backed by significant evidence. I hold, will continue to hold but that does not negate me from casting a critical eye over the BoD's performance.

Surely, @cjmorely, when compared to the how the BoD has run down the company, it's not even close. Their inability to get anything across the line has decimated this SP - down approximately 50% in the last month alone. Nobody wants to buy because, despite the attractive assets, there is no confidence in the BoD. This company is getting close to a death spiral unless it comes up with a significant announcement soon. I live in hope.

Regardless of semantics, @Max111, why has the AA 'deal' not progressed or ever been mentioned again. What has happended to this agreement that provided 75% of CapEx and 100% offtake of mined products? How can this BoD be trusted when we cannot achieve anyhthing even when it is being literally handed to them on a plate?

Sorry, @Max111, you are foregtting the Anglo American RNS announced on 31st August 2022 - reads pretty much as a JV but, as usual, the BoD does not appear to have been able to progress that so what hope is there for other JVs? It's becoming increasingly obvious that the BoD has been very adept at dangling carrots to entice investors but are now forgetting which carrots they've dangled before and investors have got wise - rightly questionning the phantom JVs, questionning why, if mining operators have been secured, are they now considering going to tender! In a couple of months, it will lose its port access. @Steviom is right, LTH have lost faith and will start to sell up - it's happening already. It's getting very close to entering a death spiral on the SP, the BoD need to pull something out of the hat pretty quick - I'm not holding my breath.

@CJMorley - looking at the accounts for year end 2023, admin costs equate to 226,000 a month - will assume the same for this year as certain costs have been saved but other expenses taken on. Assuming they keep everything else to a bare minimum, the accounts show 676,000 cash in bank at year end, so with the first tranche of the loan, Errawarra money and placement adding approximately 1.5million to the coffers, a rough guess would be 9-10 months cash or to the end of September or October. They are going to be cutting it very fine if nothing is forthcoming in the next couple of months.

A disappointing end to Q2 2024, one that promised so much but delivered so very little except share dilution, decimated SP and complete silence from the Mining Operations guy. Will Q3 be better?

@Steveiom - #AlienMetals has made several announcements over the years or presented grand plans that have never reached or are yet to reach fruition: Mexico mines, Elizabeth Hill set to be reopened (December 2021 RNS), "Get into production 2023" (Hanc**k RNS 01/06/2022), CEO appointment early January 2024 (December 2023 RNS), DFS becomes a diluted version DS to name but a few. Anything the BoD state or present should be taken with a very large pinch of salt. Most recent announcements , again, appear to be kicking the can down the road. It is a familiar pattern of delay, delay, delay whilst the SP is continually driven down. Interestingly, @Max111 seems to have inside information or he simply stated i.e. when he meant e.g.

@Bfdinvestor - I appreciate your point of view even if I do not agree. The elephant in the room for me was last week's announcement that further exploratory work will be undertaken to increase the resource reserve. If a decision to proceed has already been made, why the need to announce that? They could have announced the decision to mine (whether it be go alone, JV or some other type of partnership) and state additional exploratory work would commence alongside the mining of already known resources. Instead, we will probably have more delays. I hope I am very wrong but I cannot see anything happening this year of significance. Asking about timescales on exploratory work is like asking about how long is a piece of string.

@Bfdinvestor - the FID is like the green button. Once the FID is confirmed, and the decision to proceed is made, it's usually a given that the company has everything in place to commence operations. The company has assessed all possible outcomes, including the capital required to execute the project successfully. Likewise, it's the phase for the investors to calculate the project's financial viability and put their money into it. After assessing everything, the company and identified investors will agree to either go ahead with the funding or back out. If the budget is sanctioned and investors decide to move forward with the project, you have the FID. No FID, no go basically.

CJ - you are quite correct - very trivial trades - yesterday saw a total volume of trades of 0.0845% of total shares outstanding and the price dropped almost 8%. Today - one trade for a value of £26 and SP is up 4.51%. Defies logic but that is #UFO all over.

I believe the issue with the #UFO 'Mystery Tour' is that I don't think even the bus driver knows where the coach is going.

I think investors here would be more empathetic and, indeed, sympathetic, to delays if the BoD actually stated that there have been delays due to , but it expected to be able to update and report on by . This BoD flip-flops over projects - one week its Pinderi Hills, the next week its Hanc**k, one week its 'Let's share this out', but then their actions suggest they may go it alone - appointment of mining operator, renegotiating on mining, crushing and screening contracts with very little detail and certainly no explanation as to the flip-flopping. Lack of information creates uncertainty which markets do not like. Plus, it further underlines the conception or misconception (take your pick from whichever side of the fence you sit) that this BoD is treating #AlienMetals as a lifestyle company.

50 minutes since markets opened and not a single trade - even the MMs have had enough. Nothing is happening, pretty much mirrors what's actually happening at #AlienMetals.

I have to agree with you, @Sinterklaase, it seems everything coming out of #UFO recently is designed to kick the production can down the road. Yesterday's RNS was pure fluff, lacking substance except to make us all aware that nothing significant is around the corner. There is going to be no FID by the end of Q2, no road construction by the end of August, despite AV's assurances, and, I hate say, but I cannot see production this year. My only glimmer of hope is that Nathan Douglas' conspicious silence since his appointment is because he is busy bringing all the loose ends together and his first interview will be of significance, but I'm not holding my breathe.

A well written article that pulls everything together regarding Hanc**k. Charles has also confirmed he is a shareholder in #UFO. He sounds confident that major announcements on Hanc**k are just around the corner (in Alien time).

A more upbeat presentation than the last crock of s**t interview but @6:31 into the interview, the alarm bells started to ring. Surveying and drilling of the Pinderi Hills will be at least another 6 to 12 months (in Alien speak it probably actually means nearer to 2 to 3 years). So simple question - where's the money coming from? That's at least another couple of placements even if they are able to achieve 6 -12 months timescales. Another observation, everytime this guy speaks, the SP declines significantly. Perhaps another sh***y RNS is on its way.
