For information, I also forwarded my e-mail to the PR company Yellow Jersey. It replied very quickly, stating they would pass it on to the team for a response. Previously, when I e-mailed UFO, I received no response so that might have been the difference this time. Plus, it was a good, well-written e-mail as acknowledged by GR 😉. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised to receive a reply and even more so by the information contained within. However, before anyone asks, I did not buy any UFO shares upon receiving the e-mail, nor since.

No problem, @wentsland, but if your questioning the sincerity of Mr.Robertson’ reply, how will you judge the sincerity of a UFO response to you? If you are questioning the authenticity of the email, I am happy to forward you my original email and the response if you dm me on Telegram via the UFO group.

yesterday, i e-mailed to guy roberston with a number of questions. today, i received this reply:

"phillip, thank you for your email and good questions.

we are working on securing a joint venture partner for han**** who will provide the necessary funding to get the project to decision to mine/mining state. while we have three interested parties – we are advanced in legal documentation on one – we expect that this transaction will close – subject to shareholder approval by the end of this month.

there are some heritage clearances to be completed – funding will assist in accelerating these – and our stakeholders in the region are keen to see this project move to production.

we recently completed an ethnographic survey of the whole area – not withstanding jv discussions the project is still moving forward.

our recent capital raise will allow us to move forward on the pinderi hills project – with focus on silver and platinum.

the statement in the rns on further funding is a requirement of the nomad/uk regulators – unfortunately unavoidable.

convertible note – in total on notes 1 & 2 we have drawn pounds ~450k. we have not drawn tranche 2 or 3. no repayments have been made.

your frustration is understandable – the company has previously been optimistic in speed of execution – the assets however have value – and we have engaged some capable people who should assist in delivering their value to shareholders.

Sorry, I mean Nathan Douglas - been in post for almost three months and is conspicuous by his silence. Surely he must be settled in by now and have a good understanding of what he's working with.

The BoD are a joke - repeated reference to 'focus on joint venture funding to minimise dilution for shareholders', having just diluted twice in as many months. Timescales have increased - further kicking the can down the road. Does not look like anything production-wise will be happening this year.

It won't be HL specifically, it will what it holds on behalf of its clients.

Errawarra took two months to 'interpret' and publish their last set of lab results - don't build up your hopes.

Sorry, Steveiom, I will immediately fall into line. Rock on UFO, take us to the moon and beyond.

Two areas of concern from this quarterly update - last time ETW received analysis results, it took two months to 'interpret' them before releasing the data. A delay that raised a formal enquiry by the ASX which is understandable given the opportunities it may offer insiders. Secondly, it only has enough cash at hand for a little over the next quarter - placement probable.

What a refreshing presentation - just shows what can be done when you have a competent, enthusiastic, team, focused on bringing product to fruition and developing shareholder value. Makes one despair at the missed opportunities by UFO's BoD. Let's hope it can still pull a rabbit out of the hat.

@wentsland - I asked him directly over Telegram - he confirmed immediately that he received payment. I asked him if he could refute claims on the board that he was paid and he said he could not. Cannot post screenshot here. Also cannot argue with the sentiment of the rest of your post - spot on.

@Steviom - he has never said anything that could be construed as insider information. He has simply provided his insight based on publicly available information. He has taken the time to research, taken that research to the BoD for approval, it's given its okay and the articles have been published. This has generated interest from the likes of Director's Talk. It's not better insight, just better research than most of us are prepared to do. You can write an article on anything you want provided it contains no information that could be construed to materially influence the share price. My one negative about his articles is that nowhere does it state he was paid for them. I thought that was a little naughty but, by no means, illegal because he was not offering financial advice.

@cjmorley - Mr. Archer confirmed to me that he is paid by #UFO. He does appear to be the communications channel for the company for now. Maybe that is a deliberate strategy whilst things are going on in the background that cannot be spoken of due to sensitivity and confidentiality issues. It is remarkable that in over two months, Nathan Douglas has not uttered a single word, perhaps for the very same reasons. That is what I am clinging to. Cynics, understandably, may argue that Mr. Archer has been bought in to entice niaive retail investors into buying shares but I have no evidence to that end and I believe he is legimate in his positivity around Alien Metals. Time will tell.

I would suggest not building your hopes up. Last time Errawarra received laboratory results, it took it two months to publish the findings, resulting in it having to provide an explanation to the ASX. Blamed it on annual leave and the complexity of interpreting results. However, having seen its SP rocket, only for it to fall back down to earth, may make the company get its act together and release the data in a more timely fashion

Thank you, @Dip666, an interesting and positive interview on the whole. I thought the interviewer asked some probing questions but it is that very fact that has me questionning what is happening here. Maybe I've grown too cynical over #UFO but surely it should be the BoD or employees answering these questions. Quite rightly, there has been a lot of flak on this and other boards/channels aimed at the BoD about the timelines the company has imposed and almost always missed. By 'farming' out this interview to a third party, the BoD has provided itself with a significant buffer against future investor accusations of missed deadlines or poor progress if none of the developments spoken of in the interview materialise in the next two to three months (specifically Hanc**k). It smacks of shifting accountability and responsibility but, as stated earlier, maybe I've just grown too cynical.

I believe it was e-mailed the same day (4th July) but was not to Alien Metals but to their media company 'Yellow Jersey'. Poster contacted the CEO who put him in touch with the appropriate team. Cannot vouch for authenticity but equally I have no reason to doubt the poster as being genuine.

That's the point I am making, @Max111, she didn't take the cash (I hope #UFO has more than 8K in the bank). She could have bought for 40% discount during latest placement - was the 30-day rule preventing this? Instead chose to take shares in lieu of cash at a premium rate. Speculation from me but it may suggest big news is close.

If you are correct, @Max111, directors are normally prohibited from purchasing shares 30 days before any significant announcement. As that RNS details 1st July, would it suggest something coming before the end of this month?
