Re CH, I don't agree with your assumption that he made a mistake with his purchase - if I had to make a punt, it would be that he is taking a longer term view and isnt looking for a quickie profit within weeks of purchasing, unlike most PI's :).

Surely its only a loss once you actually sell at less than you paid ...... if you know of a tax schwiz when your portfolio is worth less than you paid for it but you havent actually sold and they havent folded, then you could make a different kind of fortune by flogging that advice :).

Blog is up and has been for the last few days as I've gone back to remind myself why I bought in the first place, particularly with the SP performance this week.

For me, the case for being in has not changed and whereas I may have dreamt recently about the potential of short term realisation of oodles of cash, I have to remind myself that my original decision was based on this being a LTH.

Most of us here are investing our own money and we dont have it sloshing around to lose so emotions are high - I am trying to stay grounded in the known facts whilst acknowledging there are things that none of us know are afoot as well as all sorts of flavour of playah on the BB's. I am not great with anticipation so this along with the general risk of AIM means I am not sure what will happen first - a stomach ulcer or this SP getting above 4p.

Fingers crossed its the latter :).

If I was talking about anyone specifically, I (she) would have called it that way.

Personally, I don't see where LG is trying to influence anyone BWM and I think thats the point I was gently trying to make - we are all invested, emotions are high and that was quite some ANN to get to grips with. I think its ok not to have all that nailed in the first instance and not be able to explain why. Some of us are not nearly as practised/experienced/knowledgeable as you and Bonker and are casting around trying to get to grips with it.

None of us really know each others intent - I appreciate though it can't be great watching PI's bounce around AIM and the Boards like Bambi on skates.

I am looking forward to hanging up my skates once MTR gives me the means to do so :).

The very tired maths person in me also does not see this as us 'owning' 24.8% of MOD outright, but I do see that we can realise 24.8% worth of equity if we wanted to as per 162's options

I also see that we havent accepted a small flat amount for handing over our interest in T3. I agree we have lost our right to vote / input into any decision re T3 however we still have access to the full upside of T3 if/when it realises because we have accepted equity not cash. I am not going to put a figure on what that could mean - I'm just trying to highlight that we havent lost access to any future potential cash-fest outcome of T3 going stellar.

Without meaning to be too girly about this - I do think its important that everyone gets to have their say / ask their questions without being mocked/knocked/minimised/accused. Not everyone is a pro trying to influence PI's - some of us are trying to understand whilst thinking for ourselves rather than blindly accepting someonelses view Of The Truth and then wondering where the fark our savings went.

So....have we gained the benefit of more equity & annual smelting dosh (yay), and mitigated the risk of the potential whopper cost of production (double yay !) in exchange for not having any say in how T3 moves forward ?

So as long as MOD don't make a tit of that, we are golden ?
