Why do the CEOs of FTSE 100 companies who have hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of options not buy any?
Because they have the options.

And in this case with an option price of 1.7 he needs to provide some value to make money..as good a motivation as any.

Of course he probably cannot buy shares now as they are mid testing and Directors will therefore be in a closed period due to privileged information.

Not much appetite for trading without news , whatever the spread.
Mostly impatient investors selling up, but I will hold as the fundamental reasons for investing here remain.
Let's hope the significant potential upside starts to be realised soon.

The daily drops are on incredibly small volumes (just 19 trades today).
I am just hopeful that when good news comes and the volume of trades gets in the hundreds per day, that the rises will be proportional.

Were we not promised 3 updates following a phone call last week.. we seem to be 2 short???

Maybe.....been a few small trades that coincide with activity.

Agreed, Why invest in a second appointment if you are not confident that you have a decent resource and that you want to move towards a JORC resource asap.
Also we now have a testing base for the other licences as well as they move through the process which will save expense and time further down the road.

And the board are experienced in Oz mining so would not go to the expense of this set up on a whim.

All pointing to a vert positive outcome.

The RNS states progress towards a JORC...does not necessarily mean we will get one on this set of testing.
It would be a massive boost if we did though!

No, there has been no promise of a JORC.
We may get an inferred resource estimate and a plan to get to a JORC compliant estimate, but I would be surprised if we got a JORC with the amount of drilling/testing done so far.
Happy to be proved wrong if anyone has better insight.

Wow, The doom mongers are out in force today.

Historically ECR does not leak.

Could be that the delay is because they have found significant gold and they are taking the extra time to produce an inferred resource estimate.

No-one knows the reasons for how long the results will take or the reasons for that timeline.
The fundamentals and potential here remains the same as it was a week ago so I will be holding for the sampling results... and maybe having a cheeky top up.

Did you notice that 100 share trade prior to the drop.
Probably orchestrated to fill an order that will be reported tonjght/tomorrow.
PIs act like sheep and get eaten by the lions.

Hi Fun, No one will have a clue what the (hopefully) 'big number' is until we get some sort of inferred resource from the bag testing results.
And that will be from just one of 5 licenses that ECR hold in Oz.
So much potential...and we also hold the tax rebate (worth more than the current market cap) which is the icing on the cake for any potential future partner.

It has a big difference if this multi bags as the profit will be tax free if the shares are held in an ISA.
I have also moved all my holding over in to an ISA anticipation of a positive outcome;-)

Even this weeks news on Timor has pushed expectations upward with a good presence of gold....even where it was not expected. And that's in what is not currently the main prospect.

The SP compared to where it started the week is not reflective of that news , but each RNS release gives more confidence and awareness to a wider audience.

I, as everyone else is, wait eagerly for the bag testing results and hope that will be the start of the transformational phase for ECR.
If the testing is positive we should quickly get plans from the company to get a JORC compliant resource estimate over the coming months.

I would not be surprised to see a late reported large background buy today.

The short answer is at any time.
No one knows for sure.

Then you may see a significant shift in the SP if the results are favourable.

A very good indicator that Timor has great potential and that ECR is not just a one trick pony.
Definitely not 2p+ news (the boom merchants on here actually do more harm than good with their unrealistic ramping) but I would hope this would stabilise the SP above 1.1 and that we will get the next steps update soon to further build confidence.
Creswick is the initial potential game changer, although it looks like Timor could be another a bit further down the line.
