It was a good RNS and backed up the dealmaking possibility podcast and Liongate visiting ECR for discussions.
If any deals have been agreed then it will take a bit of time to get the legal sorted , so a RNS could drop any time over the coming weeks (weeks not months IMHO)

The sugar and ECR fruit have been heated and placed in the jar with those wax paper circle things place on top (remember those?). Just need to wait for this to cool for a short time before we can screw the lid on and get the jam to market.

Hi Boffin, Yhe RNS is the quarterly update and probably prepared over the past few weeks.
Interesting though that Craig Brown basically ignored progress when making his comments and concentrated solely on the prospect of deals being made.

Could ECR be one of the 'business opportunities'?

The P&D brigade did not arrive (just one name I recognise from previous holdings).
The rise today is actually greatly underdone (you dont hear that from me often).
The Lionsgold news is huge...but looks like investors are waiting for more substantive deal news.

Sold the majority of my SAR before the consolidation (good timing) , but still have a small holding.
Have my maximum holding in ECR
.MMs shaking it up to get some stock fluidity.
The prospects here are amazing ...how many companies on AIM have confirmed are being chased by multiple parties for deals...all of which could be truly transformational.
Would be good to see a steady 10% daily rise to news to keep the P&D brigade at bay (one appeared today) .
I am hopeful at a good deal ...I thinks a full takeover is unlikely due to the continuation of ownership requirements of the tax credit.
Can see a severe re-rate in the near future (hopefully).

The good thing is that ECR are in a good negotiating position to get a good deal , having had meetings with multiple parties over the last week.
Nice to negotiate from a position of strength.

Interesting that Lionsgold meeting is linked to Balieston prospect.
However previous tweets encourage looking at Creswick after ,multiple meetings' podcast.
They couldn't be doing multiple deals.. could they?

We got above 1.2 on speculation of some initial drill results.
Where will this end up if we get an actual deal?...On top of the excellent licences , those tax credits are going to look very appealing to any prospective partner

"We are getting calls, emails and messages and that's partly why I'm down here because we have had so many meetings lined up." "I've had 5 meetings last week in Perth and now down in Melbourne and had a full day of meetings yesterday, so its all very positive."

And GGP has an mcap of £189m compared to a mere £3m for ECR.
With such a low MCAP, licences in such a great location and the tax credit it gives ECR the potential to get a truly transformational deal.
A farm in agreement would make a mockery of the current mcap IMHO.
We have (finally) offloaded the distraction that was Argentina) so we can concentrate on our core holding in Oz. Craig Brown was incredibly bullish in his interview and he has RECEIVED many invitations to meetings.
Sounds like ECR are being hunted by a number of perspective partners and may have the whip hand in negotiations to get the best deal.

Hi Dill, as shareholders will be pleased with the announcement...Craig Brown's sentiments....I would say there is an excellent chance that we will push on upwards from the price at the time of the news.
With the small Mcap there could be a significant uplift if the news is transformational.
Not going to speculate on exactly where this will end up..depends on the news.
My guess is it will be a farm in/partnership and will move the projects forward at pace :-)

Until we get updates or deal news then anyone saying this will go to x or y are just plucking numbers from thin air with no basis.
The podcast was extremely positive and bullish so I will just say I am confident this will go up over the coming weeks.

He sounded extremely confident and upbeat (and more so than previous interviews).

Holding loads of meetings for potential deals including holders of nearby mines...all looks very positive.
I loved the statement that there will be announcements in the coming weeks that will make shareholders happy.
Incredibly bullish and positive.

Enables the company to concentrate on Oz resources and also stops any ongoing expenses with regards to maintaining licences/infrastructure in Argentina.
Hood to get the monkey off our back (it's been near term for the last 4 years...lol).
A good positive move and maybe nice payback in the future.

With that 58 code sell yesterday and the immediate drop in SP I would not be surprised to see another bigger buy posted in the next day or two.
Looks like they are flushing out some sellers to fulfil the order.
