Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
Figgy, and..."Whilst the AbC-19™ Rapid test was specifically developed as a companion diagnostic
test to the Oxford University and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine programme, there is no
reason to assume that it will not be used with the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines from
Pfizer/Biontech and Moderna, all of which trigger the immune system to produce
antibodies against the spike protein of the virus".
No idea upomega. I think that if they've not refused approval and have gone to the trouble of specifically asking for more data/information then it's a good sign.
Yes, I agree, they only rely on what is deliverable at present.
"Our forecasts assume c.0.7m LFDs produced in H2,..." which by the figures discussed in presentation of 500k by year end and 2m by end April is timid.
"... which includes c.250k tests from the 1m test order placed by the UK Government on the UK-RTC.
Omega indicated that it is progressing options to increase production levels to c.2m tests
per week by the end of April 2021– ie. 100m tests per annum, which – if fully utilised –..."
again, conservative and not factored in to the numbers anywhere,
"...would generate revenues in excess of c.£200m" Which is at a minimum 50%profit, disregarding economies of scale.
I think the bugbears of MHRA approval/re-test for the antibody test and the confirmation that the antigen test is approved are holding this back, and consequently, orders are not forthcoming. In the quantities that these tests will be being used on approval, I am sure that production will be accounted for regardless of the "...significant stocking order..." of the Food detective product.
All in time for Christmas! (do you like what I did there?)
Yes jolly, an interesting and informative read.
I like the bit where they confirm that Omega "...is now expected to clear 25% of the initial DHSC requirement (c200-250k or £0.4m vs previously indicated 175k tests). Production is up to speed.
Also " the ABC-19 test will be able to be used to asses the initial immune response toy these (Pfizer/Biotech and Moderna) vaccines, monitor antibody levels over time and determine when or if a basic vaccine is required indicating the potential for repeated testing over time of a large number of individuals."
Condolences Tricky, take it easy and thanks for all the info and opinion you have shared in the time I've been watching and on this board, it's really helped with my research and decision making. You'll be missed and your return will be keenly anticipated I'm sure. Good luck.
Piece about family of care home resident, dad saying how Devon and Cornwall trial of Rapid Testing will be a game changer for them. Allows care home staff to test regularly and get results then and there.
Freddie, my thoughts: they overpaid by £2.40.
kford, yes, I'd noticed that too, the same old faces from just after the rights issue. Wonder when Ramirez will surface?
I believe that £2.5m of the fundraise went on Lateral Flow test tooling to increase production. These tests do not have to be Covid tests.
Possibly 90% protection. Encouraging first results, added to the news from Oxford University Hospitals that antibodies give at least 6 months immunity this is great news for ODX.

Could very possibly be the beginning of Tech transfer. Colin said it was expected to be 6-8 weeks I think and that would mean just before or just after the festive period. Great spot!
Sharebel I share your concerns insomuch as the pool of pi cash invested in Covid stocks is finite and potentially dwindling. Scardey Cat makes a good point though, there's no such thing as bad publicity, so, whilst I believe that some of Omegas shares will be sold in order to speculate on Abingdon, on historical performance the shortfall will be fairly quickly bought into due to the resultant increased interest in the RTC. I think the timing might mean that any short term rise til the 30th November trading update could be temporarily reversed shortly after because of the IPO. Like you say though Flashy, if it's Walbrook there's probably nothing to worry about. Worst case is it leaves a chance to top up in time for the Christmas present!
MRI Goat, I think that Indiamart precis is a bit out of date. It mentions Andrew Shephard as CEO-Colin took over on 14th December 2017. Also, I can't remember where I read it but I think the current number of countries Omega is linked with is nearer 75 having scaled back 2 product lines since, but yeah, 75/100 who's counting?
Are we producing under the names SD Biosensor or Sidak? If not I think the only thing we're selling on Indiamart is pregnancy tests...for now...
Girdz, you can see ODXs twitter feed on their website in the News and Events tab, which has been updated today
If they're high up in BA does that mean they're in flight aircrew?
I've Emailed Walbrook PR Ltd with reference to updating the website. Some of the information on it hasn't been updated since before October 2018, for example, the Corporate Governance Page . The Companies Linkedin profile has a few irregularities too. I'm interested to see how long this takes. I Cc'd Colin too so apologies in advance if I've stitched anyone up.
Also, update the food intolerance section of the homepage to reflect the increase to 67 antigens from 59 (news section says this). I'd email Omega myself but I like to think they're too busy increasing capacity.
They could give us an update on Medica in Dusseldorf or remove it from the events section of the homepage.
