Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Tiger100, Hope you're not feeling ignored. 43million, nearly 25% of ALL Odx shares changing hands, no TR1. Extraordinary. That's like 215 people each with 100,000 shares which up until very recently were all worth at least 40p each all just decided to trade them with another 215 people who had at least 22 grand to spunk on shares in a company which is seemingly going down the pan? The Market Makers are going to have a great Xmas!
jonesrichard, ..."something a little bit special leaking out" like some little bit special pish leaking out of the Walbrook Twitter account? Or are they still on the naughty step? Been very quiet too eh?
GGGT, I'm sure the LFD machines loaned by Govt. can easily be repurposed to make CD4 tests. I bet Tech Transfer is imminent too. I can't remember the margin on CD4 but I think FinnCap (yes, remember them?) mentioned a profit of £2.50 from a £5 test but I can't remember whether that was in £/S/D or new money, it was a while ago. Mulrainey might be able to afford some new tyres for their company Ford ranger if this one has enough legs.
GGGT, please no, not another government contract to supply LFTs, we'll be at 0p in no time. We'd be best sticking to what we know, building car parks, photographing boxes, chronically failing to update the website and under achieving on what ironically is an impressive scale.
Seriously though, FinnCap (remember they used to tell us things about Omega?) valued the non Covid side at £75m-125m before all the wobbly stuff happened so it would be nice to see some truth in that valuation sooner than the Food Allergy contract in 2023 (or maybe that'll be binned on the QT too, who knows?) Think the new guy, Simon Douglas is a decent sort, Chris Lea could well be the harbinger of the company going private though, if he does I really hope he's more careful than to leave his home address visible on the online companies house entry for Omega Diagnostics (formerly Quintessentially English), eh Kieron!
Calderkate, you alright hun?
GLA and FYOR (it's a fix by the looks of things)
Wadogara, by his own admission and with reference to the website, he owns approximately 0.5% of the company (around 850k shares).
He mentioned Dams involvement in Mexico but said nothing of any approval applications for any of Omegas current tests. I have asked about this and expect a vague rather than honest response. No point getting excited about opportunities if they don't in reality exist.
He clearly stated at the AGM that capacity was split 1m for Govt. contract, 1m for private sales. He lied about that, to peoples faces in the presence of Simon Douglas and Chris Lea with Kieron looking on.
Could it have been that the lawyer consultation covered the possibility of an action against the Govt.? Is that why the numbers have now changed? (infer that the Gov contract held up more production than was reported to maximise the claim?)
What a terrible day. Take it easy all!
91 Divoc, I agree that's a distinct possibility, it happened during last Novembers statement, down from mid 40s to 34 during the presentation then right back up again about an hour later just to check who was watching it. I don't think too many fell for it, I don't think anyone could buy in that dip either.
TWatcher, P4, "On 6 July 2021 the Technical Working Group agreed that that the common list should not
include rapid antigen self-tests". Is that why Visitect isn't there? Is Covios a self test?
Take it easy RegulatorUK!
SamPullcox, MagicalTrevor.....
Twatcher, apologies, you're right. They will have been in discussion with companies who produce self test approved tests. The delays must be caused by any number of other reasons, however, I think that if all parties are interested (I'm sure they are) in making and selling tests and if it is viable (I'm sure it must be), there will be an agreement eventually.
"So the reason why there is no test being manufactured is because 3 months after discussions commenced, they have still not come to a commercial agreement with a supplier of a test."
Not true. It is more likely that the reason no test is being manufactured is that 3 months after discussions commenced they can't come to a commercial agreement as the suppliers test has not achieved self-test approval. They may well have come to a commercial agreement pending the tests approval. I think this is likely.
The Government want this to happen, Omega want this to happen, the third party surely want this to happen, the only hold up is the time it takes to do due diligence and approve the test for self use.
Doom2, were you there? Without naming names, so was I. I thought the third party was something different though.
CaptainSwag, I thought you must've known what the staff were doing, having gone to the AGM, as other concerned investors did? Do you mean you missed the opportunity afforded all shareholders to visit the Alva HQ, meet with the BOD and tell them to their faces what you think of them? Happy to just gob off behind Colins back but not say it to his face? Thought so. You're obviously not that bothered are you. How many posts?
I hope everyone that attended got home safely. Interesting how few votes were cast considering the number on here and elsewhere that claim to be opinionated holders. But then it's easier to just criticise or ramp and blow hot air than to actually try to change things or provide feedback isn't it. GLA!
Disciple13, Happy Birthday! Hope this year is a belter for you.
Knock2014, welcome back, a sell or a Weak buy? Have you sold? Glad you came back to tell us all, thanks. Cheerio again.
Wouldn't it be nice if this was us...

FFB, no, it's apparent that you don't care about anything to do with this company any more, and you have detailed your reasons for this quite extensively, thanks. I take it as a great reassurance for the future of the share price that you still contribute to this board and look forward to you letting us know when the share price has reached a level that you feel right to sell up at, be that below where we are now or, could it be possible, much higher? Take care Golden Gloves (I knew you were a fighter)
FFB, no problem, but I'll be very disappointed if all of the constant drips about the CEO and board on here and other Social Media aren't translated into votes at the AGM, after all, as holders we are all entitled to vote aren't we? What do you think of the resolutions this year? I'm interested in the one relating to the FD as you must be too judging by your recent posting history.
I'd prefer he rode a moped, Ronnie Fourfigures Pickwering.
