Beneficial Owners can be different to Legal owners by the way.
In theory the legal owners are the share holders, beneficial owners are people that have money in the asset.
They would have the right to the money, gain or loss but not own the asset.
Share holders own the asset as we in theory paid to have a portion, lender wouldn't have right to the land or the company i wouldn't of thought.
It's like with the land registry in this country, whoever is on the land registry owns the asset. The Mortgage maybe subject on there and they actually hold the title deeds for the property. Based on no mortgage they would return it.
I cannot see Outrider being linked in the same way as a mortgage so i think literally they are only entitled to the money which i assume NY fund will cover.
