Get the tar and feathers!
It does appear to be a coin flip at the moment, Zaza and Steve do seem to be pretty well connected.
You can only hope that it helps when it matters most, i think the US will want Frontera to continue and operate in Georgia. (US will continue receiving their intelligence?)
President w. Bush about Steve's Dad
the U.S. was not neutral and had a powerful motive for eliminating Aideed . Chevron and Conoco were exploring for oil in Somalia and had established a close relationship with American armed forces whose headquarters were located in conoco's Mogadishu headquarters. America envoy, Robert Qakley, had close relations with conoco which provided military intelligence to American forces.
President w. Bush wrote a letter to Dino Nicandros President of Continental Oil Company, in which he offered his gratitude for their assistance in Somalia by stating that "I am writing to express my deep appreciation to Conoco and to its representative in Somalia, Raymond Marchand, who made it possible for Ambassador Oakley and his team to work effectively."
