What we don't want to hear is that the six months review hasn't begun yet; if it began in May it should be completed in December which is approximately in line with the first plan.

Wow that's some welcome speech...shades of crying wolf in my opinion...but the fact that we have to endure such a post is entirely down to the BOD. Hopefully there will be better communication to come.

Rickmeister could be right and it might be a good link up for us...we've speculated ourselves into despair and there could be some good stuff going on.

Of course in that context it would never mean at a slow pace would it...we're going to proceed with this in as leisurely a pace as we can manage. :-)

Of course it begs the question of what "at a pace" means, which has been said more than once.

But if the focus on Kallak had been turned to Grafintec for the reason that the graphite product can be earning money sooner than Kal then that would be a reasonable thing to do? They really need that decision from the Court before committing everything to it, don't you think?

Well I can see how KB combined the two roles and now there's a proliferation of executives...is it because there's a lot more to do, I'm hoping so, still. And we don't know what they're doing or what they've done...could it be a secret? Is it that discretion is the better part of valour? Just musing on the length and depth of possibilities.

Yes, it is and we desperately need some clarity, but who cares? My mind is totally focussed on the outcome of the appeal and that could be the mover shaker here... has it come to a point with Kal that waiting is the only option?

Roller, that's AIM...some sleepless nights are inevitable. But as for this farce of a company, they did succeed in getting an exploitation to mine for 25 years, the first awarded for 12 years. And they had to survive nine long years waiting for it with no other income.and that's taken some doing. The sp's been this low before and that was without the other products we've got lined up with Grafintec. It still could be an exciting journey if things turn out as we hope...nothing ventured nothing gained, eh?

Well, you can, yes, Ibjj is an example, he's not invested but he's mentally involved....but it's an artificial involvement which can't cause any stress, can it? Also the anti mining brigade, they'd be pretty pleased about the sp, wouldn't they...they'd be drinking to it. Lol.

How could you be mentally or financially involved... surely you can't be one without the other?

PS If putting Kal on hold was the plan they wouldn't have recruited US, would they?

Hello Eric...Thanks for your thoughts...it isn't what we hoped for, no...but we always did have to shoulder the appeal process. We don't know how work at a pace has gone to submit the environmental application and it has to be done sooner or later; US was confident she could get it to work, she said so with production in 2026. We don't know what's changed and that's unsettling. Have a break from it if it's possible..sometimes talking about it's better than not talking about it. I'm believing. Afty x

Added to that, permitting times for green projects are being reviewed...it might not be so bad as it looks at the moment depending on the outcome of the appeal. You can't proceed with a very big undertaking, surely, if there's something in the course of process that could completely scupper it?

The way I'm thinking, the appeal must have something to do with the six months review, if the review began in May it would end in December, which might account for the time it is expected to take, although nobody has said how long it might take. That would give is some logic at least...otherwise I can't see anything rational about it. And the appeal must have a considerable effect on the sp, it's an all or nothing situation with Kallak.

Eric...We're driving ourselves mad with speculation but it's "only just over a week" (and that's a fact) before the new CEO starts and I imagine we'll get a statement, good or not. I'm away for the weekend and shall try to forget about it but it's always there looming large, as you know and you also know what the " " s mean don't you. Lol.
