The more I think about it the more I think the review is related to the appeal...it would make sense. How can anything really happen with Kallak except on going stuff before that decision.

Mikael Schauman's recent remarks about his appointment are positive but then they would be wouldn't they...he could be talking about never never land. Until we get some positive results from somewhere we're in the dark, just waiting as always.

Eric...in contemplating the wisdom of being optimistic, I'm finding myself between a rock and a hard place.

That's the point, it wouldn't be politic would it to pre-judge the legal process. And since you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, which is it then, what have we got...is it a silk purse or is it a sow's ear?

1. It has taken nine years to obtain the exploitation licence through no fault of the Company.

2. The environmental permit was always going to take two years at least...it was pushing it to get it filed by 23-24.

3. The Sami appeal against the Government must be having an effect on operations because there exists the possibility that it could succeed and then we'd be finished in Sweden, no mine at all, ever. Which means it's all in the balance.

At what point has our critical friend come to the conclusion that we can't get the ore out of the ground; that we can't not that we may not be able to or that it will be difficult. Just wondering?

And this was more than a bit interesting, from The Institute of Energy Economics and Financial Analysis:

“Increased focus on magnetite mining is one option. Magnetite iron ore is often more suitable and preferable for further processing and producing iron ore concentrate and pellets of DR-grade quality,” says Basirat.

Your posts are never badly written, Eric....yes, let's look ahead, and it seems on reading the stuff again in a calmer mood that there's no reason to suppose the environmental application has been abandoned, just on hold for a bit for various good reasons.

Eric...I didn't see your 16:04...just thinking there might be a good reason to have Kal on the back burner for just a little bit onger.

And I'm being vocal about it so I can't be called a cheerleader whose gone quiet.

Eric...Sj just put forward his thoughts and I was agreeing with his view of it; maybe ship shape was over optimistic but I did withhold Bristol fashion. I don't see any other option, except to sell for what it's worth now, which I don't intend to do, not just yet anyway.

Morning Sj...You know how I like to make the best of things, well...I'm trying and I'm thinking hard. They're still talking about 'product' which is a bit encouraging, could their be some light at the end of the tunnel?

Just idly speculating on how the new chaps were recruited...did anyone see the job advertisement? Is it a circle of people who know one another in the mining industry I wonder?
