This is how we were introduced to JR:
"Mr Röstin was the CEO of ferry operator ForSea for three years, 2017-2020, and before that the CEO of Copenhagen Malmo Port AB, 2009-2017. He has significant experience in infrastructure, logistics, capital investments and permitting processes, and has held Board, executive and senior management positions during his career. In his role at ForSea, Mr Röstin led the company to create a new brand, a stronger organisation and set the company on its sustainability journey."
What didn't strike me at the time was that the ForSea job ended in 2020 and he took up as CEO of BEM in Nov 22. The words announcing his departure from Far Sea resonate somewhat with the words used to inform us of KB's departure...is that just standard corporate stuff then, I suppose it is but it's pretty false in substance, isn't it. Here it is:
“It has been a privilege to lead ForSea for almost three years. The company has come a long way during a short time, and I am proud to have contributed to the many changes we implemented and the results we have achieved. I have decided that now is the right time to step down from my position, and I have agreed with the board to leave ForSea immediately, but I will be available to the interim CEO if he needs me,” says Johan Röstin.
Spooky.
