Reuters report new comments which are subject to some very clever words by Barrick no doubt Mark Bristow which says they are considering all options even selling Acacia. This is clever in that it says to the Govt. of Tanz, we can either do a deal together, so you have a take up with the largest Gold Miner in the World, or you can deal with someone else, perhaps a Chinese Company based on John Thornton's earlier comments. Sometimes "one" has to find a way to crack a nut?

Oils today are looked upon as a safe haven in status, even without the Opec cuts. However if Trump does increase the need for consumption such as any trade deals this will add further support to the oil producers. For the sudden falls the more this share increases the more the shorter's will be looking at their books and will have to come back in before the loss for them is too bad and the price hereon will go up even more.
A good place to be in here, with or without the banter to be honest.

This is going to be a very interesting month with Saudi's asking do we need to cut more? Unrest in Libya stopping the largest platform from working and the Iranian cuts and restrictions cutting back exports.
We only need Venezuela to find it difficult to produce financially, a stray Yemen missile hit a storage depot in Saudi Arabia and or any other World problems affecting oil production as this thing will be flying.

Hi BB yes I am not far away from making some money on my last and 4th purchase here. I have made a lot of money on my other shares today however, Oils were coming back very fast. CEY, HOC, STOB all up big time too.

I was wondering at what price will be back in the FTSE 100? We are certainly moving in the right direction. Mark Bristow certainly talks the talk doesn't he. .

Hi Laidback well not bad for the first day the Saudis have made cuts. They have also said if the price of oil does not move they will cut again as they are determined for it to rise to USD80 a Barrel their break even point, If the Cold winter weather hits the USA the inventories will draw down fast. Their timing for the cuts is very tactical. They know the Oil Business.
I do not feel we will go down tomorrow as most analysts feel the trend is up but if we do it is a blip. .

I have no worries at all about a few P in a dividend when the price rises 6.51% in a day. I would rather the share price rises than worry about a few pence divi. Fact is they are keeping cash back for a reason. i.e. New terminal for extra aircraft, or extra expense on fuel with rising prices expected, or even to settle with a disgruntled CEOs out of /or even in Court -who knows. One thing is for sure this Company is expanding fat and the divi will return.
Someone once said the Market does not lie. So the rise today is good news.

If the price of Oil has shot up today with only a cut in tanker cargo to the States from the Saudi's on the first day of 2019. - what is going to happen over time once all the other producers join the party? The current price may be volatile but in time the trend is certainly up, if it is not- as they have already said- they will cut some more!

At least from the reaction in the markets today they can take some comfort from even causing a reaction.

It showed that not only are New Barrick/Randgold already talking with the GOT to find a solution but will then decide if they are going to keep it for their own portfolio or sell to someone else's. It sounded as if he already had a buyer to be honest? Interesting times ahead.

Could be the man starting the Oil Price rise frenzy which they are talking about a 6% spike when he published his Saudi Tanker tracker stats about the same time, that confirmed the sudden cut in their exports to the USA sending the oil price rocketing in New York and as discussed further live on TV two minutes ago....... Happy days.

Thought to be when someone actually saw what the Saudi's had sent out, or rather what they have not, looks like the cuts have already started chaps - happy days for those holding shares. This share will go up quick very soon.

Says on the first day of the new Barrick/Randgold Company they have already started Dialogue with the G.O.T to find a solution hopefully moving forward 1st QTR of 2019!!!

I agree someone in the Ministry has some explaining to do, surely. The only regular service in operation is the migrant inflatables-nothing stops them. We have one Borderguard protection vessel in operation out of five. Even the Boris Water Cannons might have done a better job? Another waste of money..

What with us being now firmly back into the FTSE250 together with rising Gold prices which are forecast to rise and continue into 2019, lets see if we can push the price up and over £2.00 before the Calendar year end, and before any prospective offer comes for our shares from Barrick/ or anyone else..

Yeah I looked them up quickly and found some boys in Epping will become very rich, well to be honest they are properly already. I don't think the M20 car park will gain much, but maybe we should open up a Hot dog van!!! I was thinking Stobart may get a lift for their warehousing and then there is Hays distribution, or Wincanton? S/end A/port is Stobart too I suppose.
