It's amazing numbers. They'll net profit 1 million (!) USD more pr. week (!) than they did before the well results (3.600*40*7>1 mio). So... compared to the market cap (~208 mio USD) - how much does this impact the SP?
Well... just around 2 weeks net profit added to the market cap.
It was silly cheap before 7D. Now it's just next level silly cheap.

The 7D well has been successfully drilled and completed, flowing at an initial rate of approximately 3,700 barrels of oil per day (bopd) during its first 10 days of production, and has averaged approximately 4,550 bopd during the past three days.
Field is "currently averaging approximately 11,100 bopd, and the goal of ending 2021 at 18,000 to 19,000 bopd. Overall field production would be approximately 12,300 bopd, inclusive of two wells, representing approximately 1,200 bopd, currently shut in to accommodate water injection enhancements".
Great numbers, more than I expected from a deviated well. Also under budget/on time, as usual.

Excellent overview. Keiko's got momentum. But still, it's a democrazy and decision will be pulled towards the center regardless who the winner is. Neither candidate is really electable IMHO and will have a hard time really changing things. On a micro level it looks like PetroTal really makes a difference to the local community; that might be more important. PetroTal will overtake CNPC on the production rank when the next well is complete. That matters.

manipulating? So a board decision to acquire through manipulation? Absolutely not happening IMHO. Also Shell has a completely different strategy and want/need a greener profile. "UK’s largest public electric vehicle charging network, ubitricity" is what they aquired last. Anyways I doubt any bid will get a majority to sell. And those of us not selling will be that much better of. Market cap is 310 mio USD - peanuts compared to known and probable ressources.

7D has expected completion the first week of May 2021 - and 4H work was completed.
End Q1 they had 76 mio in cash + 35 - 38 is coming from the ONP oil sale once it's done. Only 23 mio is restricted (hedges etc) so there's a lot of cash on hand.
Also... once 7D is online.... massive increase in production. Last 2 horizontal wells delivered 5.500 - 7.500 BOPD the first month. So even a less succesfull new well should increase BOPD > 10.000

Would be nice to get those 2 Chinook updips in the (very tentative) calender - maybe Q1 22?
Nice to get a new holder in with 2% at this time - I'm a bit surprised that he has been able to accumulate a holding that size so fast on the free market without increasing the SP. Question now is if all the impatient shareholders left - since we've still got at least a month to go for Coho - if not we might get another dip. I hope most of the sell-off is done and we're >118p/2 CAD when Royston is spud.

Gaps in production? Oil is barged to the pump stations. They don't barge on a daily basis since they want to fill a barge to full capacity and capacity on most barges are bigger than the daily production. Dont worry about that.

I hope they increase delivery by barge aswell. Netprofit is about the same, cash comes faster and it's probably more reliable in the long run.

He also stated that they've caused some (formation?) damage during Chinook which would not have happened with the new drill. Maybe that's not new, but I don't recall it being mentioned so firmly before.

Surely the pipeline can carry 300.000 BOPD (or something like that) - it's not the pipeline that's the bottleneck (maybe I misunderstand you).
Brent is again > 67,5 - that ought to help with the mood. A lot of cash incoming - Q 1 numbers approaching.

In an interview with Radio Exitosa, he pointed out that his proposals do not contemplate the expropriation of private property and now he assures that he will respect the terms of the current Constitution.

They might have shorted a big portion of these shares earlier to secure the profit. Would make sense. So basically they might not need to sell much, just hand back the shorted shares. The stock market works in mysterious ways ;=)

They raised 14.1 million £ @ 10p in June (11% discount to SP and equal to 17% dilution). On top of that 70.6 million warrants (another 8%). Warrants can be excercised @16P for 3 years - until June 2023. I'm not very happy with the number of free warrants major shareholders got. This was just to cover the contingent liability and before the social unrest. So as I've said: IMO they do a great job when it comes to the core business but not on the financial side. Remember they chose to pay out dividend instead of just hedging part of the sales and obviously when they wasn't really in a position to (they could have done a share buy back and simply put the shares in the vault if they felt compelled to giving back something to shareholders). I really dont want a dividend before the bond is gone and osheki is test drilled. If they want to reward patient shareholders, buying back shares and just putting them in the vaults is the way to go IMO.

Dont forget about the dillution. While they've been great with the productions side of the company, the financial side is very major-shareholder friendly (IMHO). So there's a lot of warrants outstanding. You dont get to £271 million in market value with 816 million shares - you need to add 100 million to that number (70 million investor warrants). When I bought the first shares they had 550 million or something like that. Dividend was payed too soon and that f...ed long term holders. I hope they've learned from that. I hope they'll not pay any dividend before the bond and debt is gone. And to begin with, I hope they'll do share purchase end reverse the dillution (which is also what makes sense at these P/E levels). With this financial management you simply dont want PetroTal to be on the lending side of the major shareholders here.

Well. I don't know the reserve mix of the other companies. Just bear in mind that oil/boe is more valuable than gas AND that tax differences makes it hard to compare on the back of an envelope.

From todays RNS: "Based on the hedged amounts, the true-up payment is expected to be approximately USD$31 million, which will be paid to PetroTal when the barrels in the ONP reach the Bayovar port and are exported in batches by Petroperu."
So. 1/3 of the bond in ONP :D
And they're steadily hedging (with put/call swaps) above 60/barrel. So we'll be looking at 31 million in "free" netprofit in 2021 from ONP, produced in 2020, and 4.2 million (or more) barrels produced in 2021 with EBITDA > 140 million.
So much cash....
