With the dividend received you should be fine. If you truly believe that brent is going to 50 USD, there's no reason to be invested in any pure oil company IMHO. Maybe TXP (mostly gas) and similar more regional players may do well, as will some infrastructure/pipeline corps. But brent @ 50 for a couple of years is a sector killer.

Eric Nuttal (perma oil bull though), but worth a read. US can't increase much the next years; reservoirs are running on fumes. I think he mentions 65 USD as break even. Shareholders aren't going to allow companies to "drill baby drill" at a huge loss. I'd like the PoO to go back to the 85 level, but lets see. It 's beyond our control.

People who believe Brent will go to 50 and stay there the next 4 years should absolutely get tfo of O&G companies.

Putin isn't going to allow his little puppet Trump to force the PoO down to 50 USD. Then he'd run out of money and Ruzzia would be f.cked.

Besides, no major oil company is going to drill much, if the PoO is below 60 USD.

5,342,094 BoO this year so far; guidance for the full year is 16,500-17,500 = 6,022,500 - 6,387,500 BoO. The remaining 51 days just need 13,341 BOPD to reach guidance and 20,498 BOPD to break guidance. So it's quite likely #PTAL will end around the top end of guidance (or just above), especially since well 21H should be online soon.

And that's even without production from 131. Financial results will be ok; great takes a higher brent price; but the share is certainly still cheap, especially with all the potential in new wells & blocks.

I assume everybody assumes.... that North only holds stock on AIM. Else the SP should tick up nicely in Canada, given the volume. So if it doesn't, then North probably push shares on both exchanges.

At this pace, they might be completely out when the ER hits. They've maybe thought it prudent to exit before a possible/likely downgrade of guidance... however... that shouldn't drive the price now (with well result and drill news pending). Will be very nice when Norths overhang is gone.

Do we even know if North is only AIM or in Canada? It might be split (which would make sense from a FX perspective)

Honestly G_G_G I don't know where you're getting your numbers or ideas from, but often it feels like you're pulling them out of thin air or some more gassy area. So 20 mmcf is what is required = payback time of less than 4 months per well, else they don't understand the geogology?

Honestly, we should be trading back in the 55-65p range where the SP was bouncing around in the greater part of 2023.

Just HODL a bit longer and let the news and FOMO work. Really, wer're in a better place after this swap and the construction of facilities and new wells, than we were in 2023. Patience is king, pennies are peanuts :)

Yet the SP is down a few percent, while it should be up.

Iquitos also looking fine now. Production is not hampered. Looking forward to Canada doing what London can't and also Q3 ER (in a few weeks) and a 2025 CAPEX budget.

I really don't understand why they're not using SoMe to make some soft confirmations. The board just visited, right? So how about a picture with the board or one of the members "inspecting" the last bit of the bridge or pipeline. All withing regulation and free to post. Nothing that reveals anything new, just that they're on track. It's branding, IR and PR. A junior producer is meant to use the tricks of the trade. Not meant to stonewall investors.

Very nice - should hit Iquitos in some days. Very impressive production the last week. And as we all know (well maybe except for one) the only way oil leaves Bretana is on barges, since the storage is small. There are plenty videos out there reporting how much water there's "left" in the Amazon river now, despite the drought. It's still absolutely sailable, which is also why we see production still flowing. It's not full loads, but 12.824 BOPD in October is certainly enough to keep us on track for a small guidance increase for the year. Sadly, Manolo doesn't control the price of brent - that seems to be the biggest culprit at the moment. Increase in buybacks would be welcome; then I'd certainly increase my position.

Water level @ Pucallpa nearly hit the 4 meter mark, nearly 1 meter ABOVE the "beware" mark. This will help raise the level @ Iquitos in less than a week - water level there is also above the most critical level now. So I hope/pray/think #PTAL is back to full operation when we hit November.

Yup, that @ 0.57 CAD wall of shares makes it pretty hard for the SP to rise without news. Doesn't look like North has any representation on the board so let's hope they don't know more than the rest of the PI's. Also pretty crazy to think that we have no real major shareholders :)
