Yes, I often forget the leasing side of finance, the more sensible financing option. But if you look at the motor lending fiasco, it's not all leases over there (or over here).
I'm very positive overall on leisure travel, I guess I'm trying to rationalise the jitters in the market. Clearly the SP is falling. In my mind, there has to be a rational argument to explain that even if I can't pin point it.
I do still think though that costs have moved way from what's sensible. I think about dynamic pricing also, where people are being fleeced over leisure spend because they are actually prepared to pay a lot more than the true cost of 'goods/experience' etc. I'm a bargain hunter, I refuse to contribute to certain sectors of our everyday lives because they are clearly nonsense, but I see people with a lot less income who are happy to subscribe willy nilly to this, that and the other, buy overpriced concert tickets because Oasis used to be able to hold a tune and season tickets for sport so that vain sports people can earn 800 thousand a week for limping about a stadium with a mullet? There have to be limits to where this goes, no?
