It's just hanging on by a thread to 26.5, but looks like someone wants to sell it down to 25 p. I've set some limit buys as i'll have to go out. This afternoon.

Some buyers coming back in so I've opened a long position at 27. Will happily add on further falls if they come.

Judging from the SP movement today, I'd say there's a reasonable chance we'll see 25p.

I've been in this (in and out) for much longer than was ever my intention, but I'm hoping that new management will get this back up. I like the 2nd share buy back and wording of the RNS, Technically it's not looking too shabby either, but the low volume is quite restrictive for me

It did seem that way and everything shot up, but Deutsch telecom reported also. Maybe a read-across there. I closed out and took my profit as I still think we're due a knock to the downside. No-one can see into the future, but for the present I'll keep day trading as that seems to be working ok. I'm hoping BT drops back tomorrow/soon and I get a chance to build larger positions.

I've also added Aim/BTF (shares and my first new trading position), not as low as 27.5, but fingers crossed it'll pay quickly. I have some doubts on that however, as crude doesn't look strong for the moment. Bit odd really, I happen to know one Government looking to power outages in February, who are asking private enterprise to reduce their power consumption. Doesn't smack of the big boys being confident of supply over demand.

Well the price has touched the areas I thought it might, I'll just wait to see a a pick up in buying activity before adding further to my share position and starting again with trading positions. It's easy to imagine the next leg up exceed 30p when it comes.

I was drawn to this via the chart. Been a while since I've looked in here, but some of my other stocks have moved out of an area where I feel somewhat safe to trade them. I've just read some of the comments and the industrial action risk seems to be at the forefront of peoples minds, which presumably means it playing on the SP. I see a good chance of the SP coming off to 104/105 area, but also the short term chart suggests a potential profitable trade around here. We need to see the SP close above 117 (preferably even 118) at which point the chart makes it easy to imagine a rise to 125 (that's enough for me). Looks worth day trading to me and I am doing (started yesterday). I personally won't hold for any length of time until the pay disputes are resolved and the wider markets look more stable.

If you look at the director dealings, it's overwhelmingly buys. Not many substantial ones, but the most recent of those were around the 35/36p area in Dec 2021 and more recently a couple around 20-21. But the directors are still buying. That in itself is reassuring to me. General markets are shaky (some believe a bottom might be in, but I'm expecting a shock to the downside: I'll be right or I'll be wrong). Since I'm unconvinced that the bottom is in on stock markets in general, I will continue to predominantly day trade (I'm accumulating some stocks with a longer term view). In that vein, I have been trading CPI quite successfully although am on the sidelines. I want to see the price drop to or below 24.25 (we're not far off that's why I'm giving the heads up). In the mid to long term the directors are voting with their wallets and the short term risk profile from a trading perspective apears to be about to improve so I will start to build into trades at or below 24.25 (speculatively) and up the ante if there is evidence from a chart perspective that the SP direction is like to rise in the near term.

I've been trading this quite successfully, although have been on the sidelines since the beginning of Nov. I think the price will drop back to 342 or lower and if it does, I'll start looking for signs that a new long entry is likely to succeed

SP has dropped back to close a downside gap (in my view closure of the gap means it's now worth watching for a trading entries). I could imagine a speculative trading entry at about 27.5 and potential 2nd chance at 27.25. No current sign that the drop is over though. I'll sit and watch until there is a sign of a turn around, but trading the short term movements has proved very predicatable and profitable. I retain (and have significantly added to a longer term investment position).

I speculatively added (at about b/e aruond 351) in the hope it suggests a good start to next week.

What's next though E? I was/am no fan of Liz, but she had the guts to make decisions. We need that. However, it didn't work out because she thought she was 'in charge' of course she was not. Slap on the wrist should have seen an end to 2 or 3 weeks of madness, with her coming back 'online' and moving forward intelligently, but more cautiously. Now we're back where we started. Now we have the possibility we'll get Sunak (who I supported pre-truss) or Boris. Boris is bright enough to know he's not in charge, but not bright enough to make any decisisons. He'll do what he's told to do and we'll have stability (I have a lot at stake and actually would prefer some new thinking). Sunak, I'm not as sure now as I thought I was previously, that he's a good choice. What would he bring to the table? Free thinking? I dont'think so, we need a peasant. We need Zelenski.
