It's a similar situation to where PI's complain that they can't buy shares in a placing. But when the SP drops below the placing price, they don't buy shares either, because they believe that for the SP to drop below the placing price, something must be wrong here! It is human nature but I'm not sure it helps on the stock market

For me, it's now become a speculative buy having hit the support so I've started buying. Not much yet, as it's safer to wait until there's evidence of a change in direction.

I said a while back the price needed to drop to 24.25 or below to make it interesting as a trade/investment for me. It's done that now and we need to see where the bottom is. There's a short term rising tl support on the daily chart from Sep 29/Nov 3/ 3rd touch if it happens would be around 23.41 today (rising daily). That might well act as support so I can see a speculative reason for buying if the price hits that level. If the price closes daily below that level, then there are further potential supports (weak supports) at 23.2 and 23, but a close below that might have us back to 21.75. That's a rising tl support from Mach 7 / Mar 24 / Mar 25. I'll be trading from these areas although I'll wait to get a sign that the price is changing direction.

In a sense they did update on the debt. 750 million up to end of Sept, all on track for management's plans of 0.5x. So 130 million paid down in 3 mths (more or less 40million a mth) suggests that we're potentially already at around 670 million and should be around 630 (maybe a bit more) at year end. Might have been more convincing if it had been explicity said though.

I don't want them to be punished at all. I think they've been getting a lot right these last 3 years, but I have to try to figure out how the market will see the information. I think I'll see 23p or lower and that it could happen today.

Is that not tempered by the fact reduced CAPEX means reduced rebate on the WFT?

Did they really say 4mths? I read something like 'in the longer term', and viewed it positively from a point of view of managements intentions, but didn't see a timeline.

Large in-line, but there's a bit of a downbeat tone re deleveraging/WFT plus Eagle performance. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a bit of a pull-back. Someone suggested we might see 50,000bd, but it's between 46-47 (mid range of management expectations. Will be interesting to see how this goes down. Looks steady to me.

Even if it's hard to find sometimes, the truth is out there.

I try to take it all calmly Jan, but the WFT and it's extension were a slap round the face all the same. But there's nothing we can do about it, unless we all head over to number 11 and glue our hands to Hunt's parking space or throw paint at one of his Lowry prints! Just have to get on and accept it's part of the market.

Darkest before dawn KO. I still think there's a good chance we'll see 23, although a good report tomorrow might put that back a bit. Fingers crossed it's all good. Interesting that there's no censoring of b'stard.

OK, sorry Jan. Didn't actually check myself, was watching an update this morning (maybe using out of date charts) that made it look as if the double bottome wasn't in. Still looks like there's a potential for a pull-back to me. I won't more shaes above 23. Dosen't sound like much of a difference 23.85 to 23, but it is in real terms to me.

A build might see WTI hit the 76 area that someone mentioned as a potential double bottom yesterday. Chart looks to be counting that as a real possibility.

Winkworth RNS this morning looks upbeat. Perhaps add some momentum to our SP.

Rejecting the 82.3 area pretty strongly at the moment. Rally in the SP tomorrow? Time will tell, let's hope it holds.

Not sure what the reason for that is KO, but I'd be very surprised if you couldn't buy that amount easily. Seems odd to me

I wondered whether my latest of long position had triggered the CTO to sell 400,000 shares.
It's a very optimistic view, I'll keep my exposure very small and nip in and out if I can. I really didn't like that RNS. Gave me the creeps.
