I've been out for a little while, but the results were pretty good so I'm a bit surprised that it came off this amount. I've gone long again today, but am not a long term investor here, I'll just trade in and out now that it's back in an area of interest to me.

I have the same Spin. I'm very active in my trading account. Almost inactive in my shares account. Personally, I'm not that convinced that the drops we're seeing are 'UK centric' I think it was going to happen regardless and the government change and new policy ideas have just pshed it along a bit.

A lack of discipline, a lack of ability to make a decision. You are currently not making money. I am. Ask yourself why you are here and also, while you're at it, why you are 'laughing at me', why you feel the need to criticise me? The answers to these questions are important to you.

I'll tell you what I have done KO, i've been in and out of EZJ and RR this morning at a good profit. Not the euromillions, but you keep gambling on a wing a prayer, I'll keep attempting use rational entries and exits.

CunningL, I was wondering about leases (actually for another stock), is that how they work? Leases are index linked/inflation linked? So that's why the lease liability is viewed as so important? Very interested in this area if anyone can shed detailed light on normal contractual terms or even specific terms regarding fixed terms on leases, renewals and how they're linked to inflation.

I have exited and I took a 50p hit or therabouts. I had even added a second position so it wasn't fun for me this morning. I suspect that 363 area is now on the cards so doubt I'll re-enter. I thought Shephard Neames results looked pretty encouraging this morning and that would help us here, but it hasn't. I suppose the idea of disposing of 30 venues has people worrying about finance etc. I wasn't hoping for a lot and would have closed out for 10p or so profit yesterday had I had the chance. We were in a pretty good trading channel up until this morning. If we close today below 414 I suspect it's a pretty bad sign and that 363 area becomes much more likely.

Ha, that's below you. The point was you laughing at TA (despite apparently using it; or was it me you were laughing at). I just took a chart not quite at random to make the point that TA is not nonsense, you know it! I just wanted to be clear on it.

Well, that didn't happen and I got out on the day for around 324, profit of about 8p. I tried to get back in the day afterwards, but the spread in the morning was 7p for me. Later on and I re-entered and after spread got 320. Was a bit worried this morning, but DT has faired much better than most. Poppy's buys can't have hurt. Fingers crossed we'll see some upside.

KO, you laughed out load (you actually used 'lol') at my use of TA in the 'take advantage of the panic' thread. I replied the above on Sept 26th 11:40. Barc price has hit 150.

Tim, not just the SP, it's also GBP. A dollar buys a pound or near enough. No idea for takeovers, but many bb's are suggesting it due to perceived value in UK companies and weakness in GBP.

I've been watching the SP for a while and waiting for it to settle. I went long today around 198 as it looks as though we get some upside. Wider markets have not stopped falling however and the new government settling in could cause additional volatility.

Simply looking at price action, 24-24.5 is now looking quite likely as a next step. No real sign of brent rising at the moment and many now think (myself included) it'll drop close to 70. If it does, no matter what the specifics of the ENQ investment case, our SP will come off with it. My guess is that if POO really does come off towards 70, we'll see 23 or lower. No-one can see into the future and only time will tell (OTWT). A new new TLA (3 letter acronym), but I've give you 33% more to make it a FLA.

Let's hope so. Not much out there is looking pretty at the moment.

That was a shocking moment romaron. when the peg was removed I was exposed to the DAX (30 at the time). Can't believe it was 2015, time really does fly by. I was very lucky with that as it never entered my head that that could happen. Pretty sure it wasn't just dealing rooms that went into panic. Did it not close down dealing companies? I very nearly soiled myself.

Agreed Pelle, we've done so much of the critical part of this race (survival at one point, now transformation). Things are better and better each day that POO stays high.
At some point I'm convinced that SP will reflect that, can't be too long either.
