Believe me, I have to be able to stay quite calm. If not, I'd be all over the place like a mad woman's sh it. I'm mostly short term and looking for fast money.

I am trading rather than investing so you're exactly right on that point. I don't need a big rise to take out what I want to take out. If I was able to take 20p. I'd be very happy here. There is the potential for more, but I might not be around long enough for that.

I think everything you've said makes sense, Boyo but as impulsive people often to, I've bought back to my original intended position. I closed the last of the previous position at b/e at 367ish. I'm actually in profit now at 357!! But that can change fast, I don't need to tell you that. I'm wondering about a bounce to 375-380 area.

Not something I've followed Sangi. I tend to focus on a small number of companies and wait for what I see as an opportunity. If I get time, I'll take a look and thanks already for the heads up.

I've started buying some shares. I think we'll see some upside soon.

I'm really stuggling to make a decision on the price action. I'm somehow feeling the upside is starting to become more likely, but the indicators I use are very mixed. I'm a quite impulsive person so I have to be very careful with these situations. The right thing to do, is to wait, but I always imagine that I can catch a sharper bottom or that I'll miss out on some of the upside when it turns (if it turns). In a previous life I was asked to prepare a company due diligence report on a new 'area'. This was an area that was outside my expertise although broadly within my catchment. I had no choice in this matter. I 'completed' the task and added a subscript to delineate the potential weaknesses in my report. It was included in the final due diligence report and I'm please to note that so was my subscript. I really was not fully qualified for the assignment bearing in mind particularly the time constraints. But I had not choice but to do it.

PIW, I see VP shys away from detail in an evasive way, but equally, you present your views as fact and unless you can see into the future, they're not fact and I would prefer personally that you mitigated them in some way to acknowledge that.

It's really helpful to me that you two (with good knowledge) are batting this back and forth over the net. I think it does help me to understand who I'm listening to. So thanks for that effort.

I actually don't fall into the camp that 'share buybacks' don't hold value. I'd prefer the shares not be relisted later. I also wonder whether, since we're on an upward rather than a downward trajectory as far as SP is conscerned (trend) that it'll be better for us (ENQ) now than it was for HBR (I don't want to guess about whether the HBR SP would have been lower without buybacks). Many it was undervalued at every step. I'm hoping because we're in an uptrend for the moment (depending upon your timeframes) that the buybacks will push up to 21 and above. I'm just aware the HBR SP fell even with buybacks and divis

When times are difficult, those companies able to invest in tech (I'm thinking about OCDO's potential clients here) tend to come out of the hard times with a competitive advantage (has to be the right tech at the right price and the right time). Those that were not able to invest in new tech, tend to get left behind and it's difficult to catch up when you slip behind. Personally I remain positive overall, but things take time and I'm waiting for my next entry. I still favour 350 or below.

Another key observation is that the buybacks for HBR didn't obviously influence the SP. Unless you want to get into arguments about whether the SP would have been lower without them. For me, I'll wait and see rather than assume it'll make our SP fly.

It's unusual price action and seemed to come from nowhere. Happy to be still holding all of my shares, but did try a little (sadly) leveraged addition on that move. Was hoping to build in but it's finished high on a sudden move. News next week?
