Not sure about that Sangi, volume is good and it's testing the previous highs from May 10th. I have a descending tl drawn from Apr 10th/Apr 23rd. It's just part of what might be a bottoming pattern and a 3rd touch would be around 370-371. I don't think that's impossible. I've was tempted to take a quick profit on 4 leveraged longs that I entered yesterday, then again this morning, but haven't done it (sadly as the re-entries would have been very profitable). I have this inner voice telling me that the moment I drop those positions, it will head higher. It almost feels as if the market is trying to weed those 'loosely held' positions out. Remember this move is coming off a 2nd touch of the 335 area. Not sure we're going to see that level again quickly. If we do, I think it would worry me a little.

What is going on with this SP, it's very volatile and it keeps wanting to test the upside. A close above 362 or so looks bullish. Are we about to see a challenge on the 370 level?

AA, there are lots of examples that prove there is a lot of stupid money around. Like a game of cards, you just have to spot the patsy's and take it off them. Be happy to be playing with fools, just don't fall into the trap of being one of them

Patience is probably key. It's maybe a negative read across from the OTB's RNS this morning (that looked ok to me). OTB dropped so I guess it must have disapointed in some way. I still have this as very likely to reach 495 or lower. I'll wait for that if it happens to decide whether 470 or lower is on the cards. I know those with a bullish bent will view it as impossible, but in my experience SP's don't respect anyones pre-determined biases. You just have to watch the price action and try to get a feel for where the buyers start to overpower the sellers. I'm very interested in entering long, but not at any price.

I was reading Millenium as no change from the 10th, but I'm misinterpreting it. That makes more sense. So no change today but they went from 0 to 0.52 on the 10th.

It's a bit weird, because if you look at the dates, no-one has actually increased their short positions since Apr 30th (0.1% incr for Systematica) and May 10th (0.08% for D1 Capital). But the overall short position is up 0.6%. Sow what do those figures mean?

I have to say Phoenixy that I doubted we'd see 350 again today, but was buying from 335 so I'm happy you were right. Very surprised, but very happy. Just wished I'd bought more!!

I dropped another batch at 14.42 or thereabouts. I have 30% left. I personally suspect we'll see a completion of the move to 13.25 or below. Director buys are notoriously independent of price action. Having said that substantial buys indicate confidence in the future and as stated by someone here, might be a good sign not capital raise is planned.

Not really sure what you're doing VP, but you're clearly focussed on doing it. Previously I viewed your input as of interest and adding balance. I believe I was wrong in that and have now filtered you as you're adding nothing new, explaining nothing and you clearly believe that you're repetitive posts will have some influence. Good luck with your positions.

VP, you're just parrot like repeating your position. You're actually explaining nothing. Enjoy your short position and take your profit when you think it's appropriate, but you're adding nothing. You're just on some sort of auto-repeat

I agree Sangi, it doesn't smack of an in depth knowledge of OCDO or it's market. It would be better if they stopped coverage, rather than jump about in an apparently random fashion.

VP, why do you keep repeating the same post? Why not wait until you have something different to say?

No-one can see into the future so this is just a guess, but I think that if you had been a bit more patient GoCPI, you'd have got a better price to add to your position.

I'm pretty sure they had the same discussion on volume and RNS to come on the BT spike. There was no RNS and the price fell back. Just have to wait and see I guess.

JG is it related to the earlier auction?

Interestingly talking about BT and CPI, BT had a similar event May 1st. SP has tend up since then, but hasn't reached it's peak on that day yet. I can't see an obvious reduction in shorts that could account for the BT spike. No idea what caused the BT spike or ours today.

We'll not know until next week for the shorts, but they've been increasing recently.
