The only thing I'd add to that Boyo is that things could change should Kroger/Ocado or related partners/companies report something negative. Until July results. I'm happy taking the risk long. Kroger SH meeting is 27th of June. That still gives potentially a month of 'calm' before a scheduled event could change things. Are there other scheduled events that could tip the SP one way or another?

RNS this morning. Points to sector wide strength currerntly and might lift the SP here.

On the basis I think we're in a consolidation phase and that it will be followed by a rise. I entered my first long position (small and quite low conviction) around 341. I'll see how it developes but will probably add. I'd get worried if we closed below previous lows around 334/335.

Ticket prices on budget flights are not what they used to be either TM, for the moment you'd have to imagine the EZJ is doing well.

71.4 now, looks like we've convincingly broken that 70p barrier. All good by the looks of things.

A similar thought crossed my mind WB, although not obviously a positive for OCDO, writing down the performance related payments immediately removes confusion. If that logic holds, any payment that might get made in the future becomes a positive. As you say, confusion isn't normally good for SP.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and interpret it the other way. I think that the consolidation continues, we've had 2 touches of what currently looks like the low (bottom in for now?) and there is some evidence of bullish divergence between the RSI (14) and the price. I think OCDO is now being accumulated by someone. I still worry about the shorts, but I believe next scheduled news is July 16th for their earnings. So I'm tempted to enter a smallish long position (far smaller than my previous positions) with a view to a rise towards July 16th. I expected more of a pull back today. I managed 4-5p profit on a day trade yesterday but think there is more than that coming before earnings. I'm still concerned about the shorts which continue to rise.

TUI dropping on open, we're back to testing yesterdays lows. Might be an interesting day.

In the short term Newboy I was thinking the same thing, but an interest rate cut after BoA closing out might favour a bounce. For the moment I'm imagining BoA's sales to be the most significant weight on the SP.

I get stressed for you Melab. I used to do the same thing and remember the stress. Bearing in mind that no-one can see into the future, it's possible I've started the same process again here yesterday! Still 463 is better than 580 so, whatever happens, I feel as though using TA etc has helped me to gain a sensible entry. It'll look sensible until it doesn't!!

I found this encouraging 'However, we need to move faster and be ruthlessly challenging on the areas where progress has been slower, building a more effective digital and technology infrastructure' and assume that includes their plans for the OCDO collaboration.

I can't help wondering whether the market will focus on this

So my guess for us today is a jump as PI's get over-excited, followed by a drop back as the markets figures out what the 'although profitability is well below the....' means in reality.

Yeah, I have shorts down from 0.72% to zero. On a facile level at least, that has to be interesting. No concerted short activity above the declarable 0.5% levels now.

Is it not simply BoA selling down it's stock holding? Someone said that it held 13% and had dropped 10% a day or two ago. It was also suggested that they were buying options. The options, as I understand it would not affect the underlying SP, but clearly selling down large volumes of stock is likely to bring the price down. Once the selling is over, maybe the drop will end. Volume was very high on the 16th, but has dropped back to near normal levels since. I'd imagine that suggests that the bulk of the selling has been completed.

I do look at MA's LWHL and I do think they give you very important information. I favour weekly, daily and particularly 2h charts. For Fibs, the 61.8 retracement is frequently hit so Rob's view might have a decent chance of coming to fruition (that fits also with your 450 area).

There a few 'rules' (ideas?) worth considering. You probably know them anyway. One is 'price first' (basically a nod to the fact that indicators are derived from price and are therefore 'lagging').
