Nothing in there to surprise anybody. The decks have now been cleared and the company is working to a new business model and with its collaborative partners the future looks very promising indeed.

Some numbers would have been good but a positive move all the same.

A quick pointer in your research Krispy. Look at the collaboration with #SKIN (Integumen) and the leadership of Gerard Brandon. I have a good investment here and in Integumen and very happy with what is happening here.

Commenting on Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Ofwat said that background and foreground IPR will be differentiated.
Typically, Background IP is pre-existing intellectual property that a party brings to a research project, while Foreground IP is intellectual property generated in the research project.
Foreground IPR will be made available royalty free to the water companies in England and Wales by all project participants (watercompanies, business retailers and other third parties)
So, for arguments sake, #MWG and #SKIN use their background IP to facilitate/develop foreground IPR, where do the royalties end up? Would any use of background IP, no matter how small, default that work, in total, to being an IP situation and thus retain all IP rights to the participating company?

I suspect insurance policies in future will be more bespoke with additional caveats depending on where you are travelling to,who with and how you are travelling. The generic 'catch all policy' has had it's day I think. If it is a policy for a cruise ship for example, it may reference ships that have a kind of accreditation for addressing the risks, such as installing monitoring equipment etc. #SKIN and #MWG have a part to play here I suspect.

I know Garforth well, only about 1 mile from where they are currently based in Swillington. Will be interested to see whereabouts in Garforth they are locating to.

Researching more in to this aspect of the #SKIN #MWG story I looked at a company called Deepmatter. I will speak no more about them (DYOR) but I wonder if these were potential collaborative partners? The science goes way over my head and I have to read reports/papers 3 or 4 times to understand what is going on. Thank goodness we have GB to explain things.

Our landowner is also very responsible mattynix7 in how his tenant farms manage the land - a rarity in these days. Tight lines my friend.

I am a member of Harrogate Angling and regularly fish the River Nidd. The club is very protective of it's water quality and work with many agencies to report pollutants and transgressions. Even with this localised commitment, a lot goes unreported. Something else for #MWG #SKIN to put on their radar.
