We all want to see contracts Trufflehound but what I have witnessed in a management team putting in the hard yards to position themselves to get these contracts. The machinations to get to the merger stage, in tandem with all the R+D that is going on, in a climate not conducive to enabling this is fantastic. GB's engagement with shareholders is refreshing and most welcome. If I thought that contracts were being compromised because Gerard was spending too much time communicating with shareholders (what a poor character trait that is) I would be worried but things are moving at great pace. "Goals pay the rent" and we are only as good as the contracts we get, so yes you are correct, but we are not seeing these because Gerard is on Twitter.

The merger will give # DeepVerge a Mcap above £50m and will put us on the radar of some big institutional investors. £50m seems to be the threshold that you have to break to get noticed (a bit of an unwritten rule). Gerard's well earned break, I'm guessing it's not a cruise, doesn't mean a news blackout but things might go quiet on the Twitter feed. The warrants hit the market on Friday and with the American markets in a bit of a state, it was always going to be a tough day. If you have done your research these daily price fluctuations shouldn't concern you. I am excited about the merger and extremely optimistic about our short term and long term future. Stay strong and safe!

That has been happening a bit Oldblue1973. Bit of selling one to buy the other to gain a margin. Things balancing out though. If you are confident that the merger will go through, and you can buy MWG cheaper than SKIN then that would make sense. For me though I am just sitting tight with a holding in MWG and SKIN.

For many investors a merger may be a new experience and raise some concerns, be they a SKIN or MWG shareholder. We are always told that the markets do not like uncertainty and that is true for many investors. I would encourage the 'nervous types' to re-read the RNS on how the proposed merger will take place, how the shares will be transferred and how the consolidation would work. It really is very easy to understand if you take the time to read the RNS. In the interim, it is easy to see why the respective share prices will mirror each other (give or take) as they are likely to be of equal value if the merger is approved. A bit of buying and selling is going on to get a marginal return on the respective price differences but nothing to panic about. There will be no skeletons in the cupboard as I am certain GJB will have done his due diligence and has had several months to understand MWG. Both share prices will stabilise and react in unison to the news that is due. This is going to be a fantastic journey for both sets of shareholders. Hold on and enjoy the ride.

Saw the programme last night re. plastics, fronted by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Dropped him a message this morning re. micro-plastics/fibres from washing machines and the availability of filtration systems. Worth a shot (and Imogen Napper is right on his doorstep for an interview!!).

No real surprises on first reading but will take another look through this morning. All things considered I am fairly happy with what I have read.

I often have to remind myself that I probably know more about the shares I have extensively researched and invested in than many of the people posting videos and reviews. This is not to decry these reviews but merely an acknowledgement that they won't go in to the same depth as they then have to move on to the next one to review, some of us live and breathe our investment (not me so much). This was a decent overview but we all know there is so much more. Nice bit of publicity though.

For me this is an excellent move that shows a clear intent and has not been protracted over a long period of time. A commonality of purpose, good working synergies and presumably a shared vision this indicates to me a strong move by both #SKIN and #MWG.

There will be a few bumps in the road but this will move both companies up to a new level.

The application in professional sport could be incredible. Imagine reducing the non playing time of a multi-million pound player after surgery. I admit, a very mercenary approach to a fabulous product but I am sure that sports medicine specialists will be aware.
