Not being alarmist SeaHawk but something infected with Covid is a bit more of a risk than a diabetic's lancet. I would ask the question of every company's test kit, not just ours.

Does a completed test cartridge become a bio-hazard? How are used tests, that may be positive, disposed of? No agenda on my part as I am heavily invested here, but another company I am invested in has risk-assessed this and offered a solution for their test. Do we have anything here or is it a case of 'it's safe so it goes in the domestic rubbish' ?

The only problem I have with Deepmatter is that it sits right next to Deepverge on my portfolio screen and has confused me on one or two occasions.

Dunsford - fair and reasoned comments. A long standing criticism of MWG was the failure to commercialise its technology and some posters still refer to that historical failing. I think we have moved on significantly since those days and we are a proactive, dynamic collaborative on the cusp of massive commercialisation of its tech'. Many water companies will have water monitoring contracts and as such may have to move to #DVRG to obtain our technology. Escape clauses from existing contracts are often difficult to interpret and even harder to implement. As new specifications are written, to include real-time monitoring (because that will be the gold standard), more contracts will come our way. I guess there is some initial capital investment required to accommodate our testing equipment, but short term pain for long-term gain. People are rightly wary of new technology and will watch and wait before committing to investment. I agree, getting the word out there with credible examples is paramount, hence the Great Lakes contract was massive for us, and will be the first of many. The snowball effect certainly applies here. Very upbeat and positive about what we are trying/going to achieve.

RMR1969 - it has been shared but no problem posting again for those that missed it first time round. The issue for me was they referred to Integumen rather than Deepverge but that is just me being pedantic.

There is something archaic about having to take sewage samples by lifting a manhole cover and physically taking a sample. It is akin to sending a child up a chimney to clean it in Victorian times. #DVRG can help!!

It may not be about #DVRG but I bet they area aware of who we are and the science we have. I suspect GB will be getting more than a few requests for our kit.

Omega Diagnostics are awaiting MHRA approval for their lateral flow antibody home poc test. This is part of a Govt' consortium that includes Abingdon. Touted as being the 'gold standard antibody test' but everybody seems to be shouting that line about their product. Not a cross ramp just info' based on this thread.

Just refreshing my research notes following a few twitters from Gerard and some very knowledgeable investors. The scope and enormity of what Deepverge is involved in and could achieve is a bit overwhelming and as such trying to predict the future share price is nigh on impossible for me. Decided I am going to sit tight and enjoy the ride.

The Govt' has placed an order, committed themselves to £75 million and given it to the consortium lead, Abingdon. Abingdon will 'draw down' against this sum as and when required, and allocate a minimum of 25% of this drawdown to Omega as and when required. As each tranche of funding is issued to Omega, will each one necessitate an RNS, as only at that point is an order being raised directly with them via Abingdon? Bureaucracy gone mad. Abingdon have an order on behalf of the consortium and ODX will get at least 25%. Issue one RNS to that point and job done!

Good shout yrabmurruc, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. As Sarahlamb pointed out we can't afford any unnecessary delays. I suspect we have a fantastic resource here but it is no good if there are constant delays getting it to market. No wriggle room for the Board from me I am afraid. Lets get this done!!

Not wishing to appear negative but the railway tracks are outside. It is the distribution network that is usually the first to fail in bad weather. Lets hope for a mild winter and no excuses from the Board.

I watched this share for a while before investing. I tried to mitigate as many of the 'risks' and got in just as the new equipment was being commissioned. I had hoped that the JORC would follow quickly after, and before the first offtake sales. The bridge failure came out of left field for me and I doubt any investor could have seen that coming. I am now expecting a good run of news before winter sets in and slows things down. Feeling more positive of late. GLA
