I'm being optimistic that this will go up shortly after another dip. If I was pessimistic I would have had "cliff" in the subject line.

...hope all PIs got out when they could - I took my hit as soon as I could and sold everything. Remember the loss, if in a trading account, can be used to offset CGT in your more successful future trading years.

The Beaufort shenanigans - I didn't have an account with them - but the threat of reinterpreting what "ring fenced client assets" really means when it all goes wrong made me open two new share trading accounts during the summer. The compensation limits circa £50k assets / £85k cash focuses the mind when you have been riding bull markets for three decades. I have reduced the risk of being seriously over these compensation limits by spreading my assets across half a dozen trading / ISA / Sipp accounts. HL just happened to be a broker I hadn't already used. The other one I opened at that time was with Charles Stanley - really not set up for semi active share trading! Was going to shuffle investments so that they contain my ETFs rather than the thrills and spills of AIM shares. There was some sensible chat at the time on these compensation limits amongst the boat spotting fraternity on the HUR board. Made me wonder about the wisdom of my single Sipp account approach. A HUR poster pointed out the need to review compensation limits, for Sipps in particular, if the youth of today are being told to build up their own private pension pots over their lifetime potentially into the hundreds of thousands of £s.

Divi found wallowing in the cash account of the previous broker. Rant about HL now cancelled, scheduling more tea drinking to chillax.

Ah! Good thinking G... Divi may be getting paid to previous broker....shifted a couple of lines of stock to HL so owned the shares throughout Ex-divi date.

.....so the market doesn't like any of today's announcements judging by the SP reaction.

So AJBell pay the SSE divi into my account on Friday.
And Hargreaves Lansdown? Still waiting and it's Tuesday.
Am I the only one or is this normal?
I only recently opened the HL account so have no idea (yet) about their norms.

It has acres of space to fall further..... Not unexpectedly since I just bought back in. Never seem to time the dip or the peak.

A holding goes above 5%..... and the board cos crazy with speculation.

Interims package up all previously mentioned details from the previous six months of RNSs into one handy place...... and the price which had been drifting down, down, down then jumps up in response!?!

So which of your holdings are erupting volcanically, fringed by statues of gigantic heads, inhabited by mutineers and trampled all over by blue-footed boobies?

Still swithering about the rights issue. Tempted to sell them and my entire holding and perhaps buying back in at a lower average when the additional shares wash through the market.....

Sometimes I wonder if I only own these shares to be more amused by the release of results and associated commentary. I used to work with someone who used exclamation marks in unlikely places in emails...... Four appear in these interim results, between a brief summary of the woes of the world's stock markets since WW2. So, a crash may happen, recovery in real terms will take decades so the board will sit on the cash pile and believe the only probable safe bets are that there will be wars (getting two retired navy blokes on board) and we will continue to breed and want our kids educated to do better than we did (education sector).

I don't have much experience of exploration companies. So, for those that do, my question is: Is the fact the drillers will mobilise for a lump of cash and future entitlement to a wodge of shares mean that they think drilling success is a nailed on certainty? Apologies if this ends up double posted - gadget issues today......

I think one of the strings on their bow may have just gone "ker-twang" if aspirin does diddly squat for stroke / heart attack reduction. No doubt other future studies will contradict what has been found, such seems to be the way in medicine..... Benefits of FF continue to be spectacular for me personally, improving circulation and eradicating my cold feet and hands. No doubt a much lesser potential market but once you start taking FF you will never stop.

Is that the circular filing cabinet that sits on the floor? I'm sure this has heaps more time to slowly drift drift drift to whole new floors..... Will try to not open a couple of buys at 1003 and something circa 985 as I am already overweight with this share. I keep saying such things and have spent years buying into dips, and other than when moving holdings into ISAs and the SIPP, been really poor at selling.

....it would be nice to see this rise on the back of this morning's RNS. Particularly back towards my buy price. Not bold enough to hope to be actually in profit on this one by close of play.
