An absolute joy combining two of my favourite idle past times. Ship spotting on the web and the analysis of butteries (and other bakery products). My theory on butteries was that they tasted better in spring. Could it be after a winter in far flung north eastern regions, with associated vitamin D depravation, that a buttery contained everything the body craved in one crunchy flat baked package?

A single adjective "slightly" when talking about future earnings seems to be enough to raise us by 7%..... Wonder what words will get us back to £40....? I know the ones that took us down to £25...

You see, that's the problem with making a nice summary table showing all the good stuff up 20%. Divi up 10%. And then a blank entry for Debt. Ah, up circa 50%. Now that is not particularly good. I also note in the one liner later on that we will own 100% of KX by next June. I've given up trying to second guess market reactions to these sorts of things. Hopefully the SP will go up as this is one of the chunkier bits of my investments.

That 45% recovery figure also caught my eye. Although the whole RNS requires a pinch of salt - horizontal well needs to be drilled, proven to flow as hoped ie 2 to 3 times vertical well's flow rates, permission for production to be gained..... Nice RNS but still no jam on yer piece today. 2019s sarnies look jammier.

So KL3 flows for a decent amount of time at 770. Great, that's more than the 460 of 2016. But have we been told how much of KL3 has now been perforated? Twice as much as 2016? Three times? Do the flow numbers look so good if we now have five times the perforations of before? Don't get me wrong, flow is flow and multiple horizontal wells will gather more of the black stuff - and if there is anyone on this board who needs this to be10p+ it is me! I'm just trying to stay level headed when reading that RNS.

I'm with you Blue, there is always a bigger picture. I suspect that BZM could very easily go insolvent and all assets (licences) miraculously end up, with some smoke, mirrors and perhaps a government decree, in the hands of others. Then shareholders will be left waiting for some sort of recompense via a prolonged legal route that will take years. All IMHO, and I hope I'm wrong.

Got caught in IceSave when a very large 0% credit card deal was ending - fortunately I had shifted a suitable sized lump into another account to pay the bill cos of my paranoia. I was in Argentina in the early 2000s when their currency fell off a cliff after unpegging from the US$ - and boy did I learn a lot from a generation of Argentinians who had been through it all before. I watched Northern Rock from the comfort of an armchair closing my account after a friend described their mortgage business as a house of cards in 2000. I moved very fast when Beaufort closed down to open my new accounts - even when it transpired ring-fenced did mean ring-fenced after all - unless you were in uber exotic holdings. I'm intrigued by your remark about original capital being protected only. I may do more reading on that topic - well the long winter nights are approaching. If true I guess I'll be doing more trading within my ISAs to increment their book value. Although the converse scenario then has to be asked - if I had lost money on a holding would they compensate me back to the original higher value if the broker went down the plug hole taking client investments with it.

Well I'll relax a bit - don't have any of those so your kiss of death remains at arms length. Poised to sell elsewhere and very tempted to buy more here. Got on board in a few tranches round about £15 quite a while ago so had been feeling quite smug with the subsequent rises. What exactly did share prophets say that caused such a reaction?
