I think we are due another night time picture of outback HAV activity tomorrow.

I went back through the previous night time pictures and have marked up the light locations on the HAV MMI map - and discovered a cluster of at least four holes were likely made 19th Feb, 2nd March and two on the 19th April on the way back towards camp - they are spaced 150m, 100m and about 75m apart. Please be aware I've converted Lat/long from the satellite image to grid co-ordinates and then tried to scale it onto the map to amrk these locations....

.... and I think they hit some gold when they were drilling out there - it is marked on Callum Baxter's 3D image. I did a screen shot at 3mins 33secs in - let the video roll to and fro a bit to properly see the area I mean - it is not that clear from my static image. This is getting very close to the ridge of magnetic oddness that leads all the way to Scallywag.

I also marked the 15th Nov light half way towards our northern border. I think they were having a look at what our northern neighbours may or may not have....

CB, if the Martu's approval was nothing more than them saying "OK" then that would've happened by now - via a phonecall, text, email or Zoom conf call.

I believe an elder or two will go to site and check out the lie of the land in person facilitated by GGP. The Abiriginal people have spent circa 40,000 years living successfully in an environment that swiftly killed most of the first white explorers that ventured into the desert. It may be that there is heritage in the district from previous visits by man. It would be a shame to lose it cos someone from thousands of miles away wanted to dig a deep hole.

Western Oz have eased some travel restrictions within the territory. Hard border remains with the rest of Australia to the east. And for those desperate for a heritage survey by the Martu at Scallywag before we drill - please be patient. Travel to remote communities is still a "no".

At the very least we need to know if either PG or MagicT can drive a bulldozer and arrange lessons in advance of their trip if necessary. They then need to go out, borrow a bit of Newcrest kit, and bulldoze a wide strip of the sand on all of the boundaries of our tenements, and once experts in driving they could then try and spell out the names of each bit in 100ft high lettering in the sand.

We should then be able to see precisely where everything is on the satellite image and we should be able to take out a third of the pointless posts on this thread.

Another third could go by automatically blocking any message with the letters "SP" in the title or any number followed by lower case "p" in the body of the message.

Would save a fair bit of scrolling during the average week day.

Well done, although geology is not my cup of tea, I've given you only the second ever "Recommend" during my time on LSE. Don't get me wrong, I do have much fondness for rocks - specially two types of rock - ones with gold in them and the other is sticky up ones with labels next to them on maps that mention "Mountain", with a lovely walk to the top and nice views when you get there.

Your PowerPoint reminded me too much of a university lecture i once sat through about concrete. I studied electronics.....

There's actually three new zones if you look closely at the 3d image behind CB.
There is a very small but similar depth north western zone further out.....

MP - Google western Desert cultural block and look at the map - I was wrong. That area is probably about twenty or more UKs. Then read about the Martu people on Wilkipedia and develop an understanding of what a heritage survey entails.

MasterPlan - you need to get a sense of scale. The Martu will have rights over a bit of land the size of the united kingdom, the tenements you are talking about are the size of a small industrial estate on the edge of a regional town.

Had another look at the big monitor behind CB in the AMEC presentation during my morning tea break. The two separate coloured areas to the SW and NW look as if they are under the same amount of cover but the ore itself doesn't go so deep as the main horseshoe central ore body.

Watched a few 3D rotations ..... Then spotted a third smaller fuzzy separate area also to the north west but further out. I wonder if that location is where we spotted the nocturnal lights a couple of images ago? They were odd at the time - not on the access track leading back to the main camp - two of them at the same time but nothing obvious from the day light satellite images marching holes drilled.

I wonder if they drilled a couple of holes, found something but not spectacular grades, have stuck them into the model for completeness but "plugged" the holes and walked away?

More patience required.

...and I presume the 3D swirling graphics thing behind Callum on the screen on the wall was a fly over view of HAV?

I was also heartened to hear GGP got into Telfer's core library to look at the original drills from the 90s. Good cooperation. Apologies if someone already spoke about this months and months and months ago on here and it is me that has forgotten.

No Q&A in the flesh other than from the AMWC host so it would seem everyone was locked out.

I bet you the greatland info email is now going to be deluged by a whole heap of drivel from people too lazy to read RNSs.

I'm so grateful I didn't get out of bed to sit in front of some malfunctioning video conferencing technology at half seven this morning. I get to do that during my normal working day between the hours of nine to five. I can of course muse about which one is more financially lucrative in the short, medium and longer terms.

I think your "let's steal HAV from GGPbegore stage 3 completes" suggested move by NC would kill all gold exploration worldwide stone dead in its tracks overnight.

Majors need junior explorers and vice versa....

Are the survey questions:
1. How many million ounces are at HAV (within + or - 7M)?
2. How many drill rigs are active (within +/- 3)?
3. Which month will the MRE publication (+/- 6 months)?
4. Who is funding our drilling at HAV?
A - Newmont
B - Newcrest
or C- crested newt

I agree with a lot of what you say - not so sure about all your values you assign to a sale and ongoing income.

A lot of the discussions about selling HAV / GGP takeover fail to mention GH. I think his own personal ambition has a big part to play. I think he probably will sell HAV, but is probably still keen to do the exploration on all the other Paterson tenements GGP have. GGP bought rights to a deliberate set of tenements.

I know he'll have very likely immortalised his name with HAV forevermore - but having had such enormous success once I doubt he 'll be heading to the golf course for his retirement. If the whole of GGP does get bought in its entirety he'll be off to the Australian geographic survey archives to find the next overlooked treasure.

The larger GGP shareholders will ultimately decide if any deal is accepted (or not) but GH will be able to influence the shape of any offers.

Been thinking overnight......
How about a whole series of descending zig zags firming an access tunnel descending to 1000m or whatever block caving depth limits are, in the south-west beyond the dunes. Align the zig zag to run parallel with the geology - there is an interesting ridge of raised magnetic intensity running all the way back to Scallywag. Use this decline to block cave mine the HAV horseshoe, and to then work the skinny ridge all the way underground on a slowly rising incline until we break out into the fresh air of the Scallywag open pit.
Then I woke up and realised I'd not only found a heap of gold where none may exist I'd also counted numerous chickens way too early.
We have a horseshoe of mineralisation at depth, we need to be patient.....

I guess the other thing to read from the nocturnal image may be the lack of activity in the far SW, beyond the dune bridge. Sadly NC's update didn't tell us what they were doing out there, nor were there any hints from GGP. Which leaves me free to muse - these drills may well be trying to work out where to put a decline, or maybe are going deep down to try and find the depth of our ore body.

All I can see is a very busy drilling site compound, seven scattered sites and two big black circles...... Which I eventually realised is the reflection of my sunglasses on my smartphone screen in the sunshine sitting in the garden...... And I ain't moving from my seat for a while cos my viatmin D levels are my priority.

Dealing with the 2nd observation first....
GGP will get a large wodge of cash for selling their 5% at fair market value. They will be able to fund their production costs from that..... Particularly if as per your first observation HAV is a monster find.

And if the 5% is not enough then there will be a queue of investors at GGP's door wanting to help fund our 25% share in a literal and metaphorical gold mine, knowing the gravy train is going to last for years and the chief driver is Newcrest, experienced gold miners and leaders in block caving extraction methods for deep deposits.

.....at some point today Sentinel should load up the nocturnal image and we can start counting rigs and seeing where their focus is.

Someone else is going to have to wait at their browser for the update cos I'm off out to enjoy the sunshine and terrorize the garden.
