Morning Value, glad you have sanity checked my observations on nocturnal images and confirmed I am not coming down with a rare case of Dalmation-itus....... A little known disease where you see spots on everything.

I do recall on looking at other projects on Corebox that there always seemed to be the occasional individual drill hole way far out from where they were finding the extent of the main ore body. I wonder if this is done for historic reasons - it is not unusual to find nearby satellite ore bodies but not contiguous with the main body that don't have a big magnetic or gravitational or MMI or whatever other tests they have up their sleeve, signatures. So they go off and drill a few far flung perimeter holes "just in case".

I do recall someone on here (apologies, can't recall who) describing how a new ore body had been found, mining was going to commence and they were preparing a route for a pipeline to support the mining works when their drill bit hit more ore. After lots more drilling they found this new ore body was bigger than the first. They felt obliged to call it "Pipeline" and had to totally redesign all their mining and associated support works to make it the main event.

I think NC did at least 3 far flung perimeter holes. 22nd Oct north east of camp, and then the flurry of April activity south and south-east of camp where i think they found ore that justified at least four holes. Due north from HAV 15th Nov - where even if they found solid gold they would keep quiet and make sure they stitched up access to our northern neighbours tenement before saying anything. Hmmm, ...

Sympathy about the day job. I spend the 9-5 chained to the work's laptop in the house, and then find much of my social life is on Zoom - sat in the same position in front of the laptop for another few hours in the evening.

Mush, you'll find the Porsche Aardvark, with its lower profile 22.57mm tyres and tungsten and molybdenum coated brakes, will turn more heads in your neighborhood.

And of course, Aardvark comes before Armadillo in the alphabet.

Have revisited the 22nd Oct 2019 nocturnal satellite picture and am now convinced there is a light - 700m north east of the camp. My 2nd attempt at marking this gives the numbers for Lat/long -21.71014 / 122.63536.

By chance there was a clear day time satellite on the following morning 23rd Oct - and I can see precisely nothing at that location. Which is the same scenario for the 15th Nov light - no sign of anything on the ground in daylight.

I went the whole way back through the nocturnal images to when NC set up their camp facilities and didn't spot any other lights out in the middle of the desert - although with gaps of 12 days between images they may have done a whole series of holes about 500m out from the middle of the HAV magnetic / gravity bullseye and we would be none the wiser.

May be my bad handwriting...... I scrawled down dates and coordinates on a scrap of paper. May have a chance later to double check but need to get out to kill moss with the lawnmower before horizontal rain sweeps Scotland on Friday ... And I'm trapped at the work's laptop till 5pm.

Have a look on Sentinel Hub at the nocturnal image of 22nd Oct 2019 and tell me if you can or cannot see a light at lat/long -21.74340/122.64699 or thereabouts. I'd been staring at dots for so long I wasn't convinced it wasn't just "noise" so haven't mentioned it before. They did move to a point half way towards our northern neighbours on 15th Nov for some nocturnal shenanigans so it may be worth borrowing your fresher eyes to work out if this was a drill site (even if briefly).

That was a long lunch break before they updated that satellite. Longest wait ever and I ain't convinced there's much new..... But working from a small screen. Must be a lot of infill happening from existing pads.

A long long time ago someone (apologies, can't recall who to give the credit to) on here said after fifty holes you could do an MRE. It would be conservative version - so if two neighbouring holes hit ore your MRE calculations would assume they were isolated veins / bodies. Soon as you did an infill that also hit ore you would firm up the figures for what was between the original two holes. Repeat for all infill across the whole site. They've known the overall magnitude (if not the outer edges, nor ultimate depth) of what they have for a few months - probably before Christmas - and decided to do all the infill with 9 rigs in order to get to a robust MRE within the year. I looked at other discoveries and found that MREs were published after anything between 100,000m and 200,000m of drilling had been completed. Cos we have 400m of worthless cover to drill through I'd expect us to have to be closer to the 200,000m mark of drilling.

I therefore believe the MRE will be closer to July than December 2020.

I admit I have a vested interest as slightly under half my GGP holding is going to be liberated from the wreckage of SVS in July and I'd love to be able to decide what to do with it rather than having the LTH decision forced upon me.

Nice spot BTB. Our neighbours have added PR into their nearology renaming their "3 sides of HAV" Armada tenement as Paterson Central..... Wonder why they didn't call it "Paterson Doughnut"?
They sadly used the old mid-March drone photo of GGPs site... It is pretty. Do any of you think that square compound already had one fuel tank (long white object) and they added more during the week?
Other bits of interest is their statement of "HAV being worth $1.5 billion pre-MRE". I guess they subscribe to Hannam, although it's brave language for an RNS without atributing it or caveating it more.
Also their soil sampling can happen without any heritage studies as it is minimally invasive and the July drilling is a "plan" rather than a 100% certainity.

Hi Value_S, thanks for going to the time and effort to do this. I'm beginning to appreciate the true value of the nocturnal images - they can, if we are lucky, capture all sorts of "extra" activity beyond the main core. As well as being very useful for showing where they are in-fill drilling. Sadly, with them appearing only once every 12 days I'm guessing there is stuff happening that we could miss out on. It ain't the easiest to spot new holes on the daylight images, and I swear blind they deliberately cover their tracks after drilling some.

I went back through the image library and reckon they have a 4th small ore body, as was shown on the 3D image behind CB's head during the AMEC presentation, in the north west near their camp. I also reckon they were proving / disproving on 15th Nov if Artemis's fault line to the north of our holdings was likely to have gold or not by drilling into the tip of the fault line / magnetic anomoly that starts on our tenement.

Still intend to sit down and look at more nocturnal images all the way back to when NC were first on site...... But the weather has been far too nice with the garden being the priority to enjoy and kill weeds in.

I'm curious to work out why some lights are blue rather than green too. Thought it may be clouds but the blue lights are so close to bright green lights I can't see that as being feasible.

I can add the nugget that some self adhesive envelopes flouresce - check this out by opening your post in the pitch dark. I've only ever found the blue colour from the range of bank, credit card and other financial institution communiqués I receive. Spooky, although the contents of the envelopes themselves can still be fairly grim despite the extra entertainment when opening them.

Launder, at first the only way I could navigate around the night images was to be on a laptop and mark the light with the little lollipop icon thing and then switch to the daytime image to work out what it related to. Repeat process one light at a time.

Things improved when I dropped my phone in the supermarket car park and the screen suffered a few serious cracks. I decided selotape was the answer to stop the entire screen crumbling. I then discovered, looking at a nocturnal inage on the smartphone I could align multiple night lights with the jaggy corners of selotape and then switch to the daylight image to see where they are much more easily.

Other brands of single sided transparent adhesive tape are available.

D, it was a perfectly straight answer about how to get the best out of the satellite. How do you think I learnt how to get hold of handy satelite images?

Answer: I started out a long long time ago clicking on one PG's links to the sentinel hub browser - played around a bit and lost completely where I was - all these Oz outback sand dunes look similar. Went back to PG's link to HAV and got lost again ..... Ended up in Port Headland. Used the sentinel hub image library to find a cloudless day and to play around with territory I am very familiar with .....A bit of Scottish scenery I've walked around a lot. Played with the sentinel browser and worked out how to navigate, get a sense of scale and perhaps how not to fiddle with the filters but use the presets. Went back to PG's link and zoomed out until Telfer came in to view. Zomed in and out until I was comfortable I could spot HAV by traversing across from Telfer and then zooming in using all the features in the landscape to guide me. 'Telfer Mine" is a good search term for getting close to GGPs tenements.

Have worked a bit more to get latitude and longitude from the sentinel hub site converted into the eastings and northings used in the GGP geological and boundary maps - the goal to work out where Blackhills is and all the Scallywag land leading to it. Am now in a position to know where Blackhills is just by the naked eye.

I'm now trying to do the same for Paterson East but I am finding it is a fairly complicated shape in a pretty dull bit of Outback.

Valueseeker got us into the usefulness of the slightly more infrequent nocturnal image - using them involves a few more tricks in order to navigate successfully.

All of the above has taken a few hours of time and effort to master. I see it as giving me an advantage for my investment decisions in the unusual circumstances of GGP and where they drill.

I guess I am the sort of person who wants to learn how to fish so I'll never go hungry, rather than relying on others to give me a fish when I say I'm hungry.

Up to everyone in this board to decide how much effort they want to put in to get the information they would like (or to be able to double check directly what is being written on this board).

I looked at the nocturnal satellite on the morning of the 14th May - updated what I saw on this BB - but it got lost in the 10s and 100s of pointless posts during the typical week day.

It looked like all activity was north of the dune bridge - you could only count 4 or 5 distinct bright lights (drill pads?) - half the number of drills we know we have. The compound (where the two long skinny things have appeared) was also pretty bright. I looked again on a bigger screen (laptop) and reckoned there may have been another 4 or 5 duller lights (bluer). Nothing in any new locations - just building on existing drilling in the south east.

Now for my tuppence ha'penny. Would the two objects in the compound be a few fuel tanks laid out end to end? Are they planning ahead for building the decline? I can imagine there will be a fair amount of earth to get out of the way with diggers.

Tomorrow's stallite should be clear (forecast is for cloudles skies) but having seen the nocturnal image from yesterday I don't think there is going to be anything particularly new in terms of new drill pads. I reckon they are busy doing lots of in-fill / fan drilling from existing spots, and unless they moved rigs around today, it is all north of the sand dune bridge.

If Primorous say "GGP are great" then the share register shows they have a vested interest in the SP going up. Their words are taken with a pinch of salt.
If someone with a large share holding pays a bunch of investment bankers with a Mayfair address to write a report saying "GGP are great" then you have to read the report with your eyes wide open.

So who are Hannan?
Who's paid them to write this GGP piece?
How good were their previous research notes?

Nocturnal image must've shown up late yesterday. Not too many obvious ways of counting to 9 lights in the desert. Can get to 4 or 5 easily enough.
