Have been keeping an eye on Sentinel, no sign of the nocturnal (radar) image which by my reckoning is due on the 12th. It'll probably get loaded overnight and give us all something to admire before the opening of the market on Monday morning.

Let's compromise, how's about doing all three from each and every hole south beyond the sand dune?

First hole back toward the Havieron bullseye, second from the same spot straight down looking for a suitable sterile spot for the decline and then a third hole again from the same spot going south-west toward the magnetic anomoly that stretches out from Scallywag.

PG, thanks for "the white box is the JV" clarification and including the surface colours. All the spurious "lights in the night" since Nov 19 onwards are all within the JV - so Newcrest must've had a reason to go and drill them all.

One other note - the magnetic anomoly stretching north to our nearest neighbours is a lot less pronounced than in other maps that have been published.

And thanks to all for keeping the board on the straight and narrow this weekend. It has been suffering of late with too much dross to wade through to find the useful, educational and well thought out contributions.

I think Paddy's handy gridlines should be able to mark up the JV block boundaries.

Would love to double check but I'm enjoying the outdoors too much to be at a laptop and am about to light the BBQ / start the rain dance.

Anyone think, having seen Paddy's overlay, that drilling beyond the dune in the south-west (and immediately south of the field camp - as seen on the nocturnal SAR April) may have been directed towards the south west or west; and not north-east towards Havieron's main core. That is, probing the edge of the magnetic anomoly that runs the entire length of Scallywag.....

It may explain why we haven't had any drilling results from the far side of the dune, as NC are theoretically only drilling to get a MRE for Havieron. And don't want to let the cat out of the bag that they have already had a wee look at the bits of Scallywag within close range of where they are already drilling.

They did also go a good 500m north west and also north towards the neighbours for one or two holes.

I still fancy a decline south west of the main Havieron core as I reckon you could extract from Havieron and explore the deeper end of Scallywag from the same decline.

....and there I was, pontificating earlier that today's image was due to be heaving with new activity. Strudel, singed and scorched, having been shot down in flames with PG's latest image proving the opposite.

So, multiple new holes getting fanned out from existing pads for the infill. I'll settle for that.....

Was about to get annoyed I couldn't see today's image despite the thumbnail being there.... Then I worked out it ain't the 7th today.

My theory on how long it takes to drill a hole and days between daylight images makes me believe today's update (when Sentinel is updated) is due to be full of new activity. There seems to be a pattern - few changes then heaps of changes - between consecutive images.

Patience.....

Reckon the nocturnals will be handy for spotting when Scallywag drilling starts, and where, as they have a number of targets. Wonder if there is an alternate source for SAR images as once every 12 days is a bit of a gap.

Skipping the next couple of nocturnal images would take us to 36 days - which is five weeks and a day into the RNS's drilling start date of "4-6 weeks".

Fingers crossed the Martu heritage survey gives aporoval...... Off to work in my patience now too.

I quite enjoyed reading the final results published today ..... Until I realised they only cover 2 weeks of trading impacted by cv19 and they are not even guessing what may happen next financial year.

Best - whilst crossing a road on foot while on the phone to my broker and told him to use all the cash in my account to buy O2. Misheard how much he said I was buying (twice my monthly salary), discovered too late (at the time quarter of my monthly salary was the size of my risky deals), and it was subject to a takeover and doubled my money within six months. Early 2000s. Lucky fluke.

Then I decided I would be a"trader", bought Woolworths and within days was 5% or so up. Should've cut and run - but no, got greedy, then refused to sell at a loss and lost the lot within months. Had the pleasure of walking past closed shops on the high streets after that to remind me of my ineptitude.

I've made more and lost more since but those 2 were the most educational.

I also just opened an account with iWeb in order to take my SVS holdings.

Let me know who you go with. After Beaufort and SVS I'll be delighted to close any holdings with your new broker as you seemed to be jinxed, Capricorn.

When choosing make sure you know who the underlying financial institution is - do you want your debts (mortgage / credit card) in the same place as your assets - shares, ISAs? Probably not - they will pay one off with the other if push comes to shove.

As a fellow investor awaiting escape from SVS I don't regret spreading my trading / investing across multiple accounts - although it screwed up my tax planning at year end - life went on.....

X-O is very plain vanilla but do all that I want - set limit orders valid for up to 90 days and do a decent range of shares.
Interactive are more bells and whistles - and refund your monthly charges by giving you credits for trading fees. Also do a wide range of international shares.
AJ Bell - they seem to eek out better pricing for quotes and do everything well including all sorts of portfolio analysis tools....

I don't spend all day every day watching shares hence limit order lifespan is key.

The activity south of the camp is unlikely to be traffic on the road - the drilling rigs are big but not big enough for the stallite resolution. It is in relatively close proximity to previous nocturnal "lights" (radar echoes) from mid-April ish. And I believe it was shown as a small 4th ore body in CB's background video....

Would be good if they drilled a few more visible holes. Nothing showed up on daylight images before.

Rain can cause all sorts of things to leap into life in desert environments, having been dormant for years (even decades). Black may be an algae in surface water that then dries out again in the sun.

The Bungle Bungle range in Purnululu National Park in the Kimberly is an example of just how odd this can be. They admitted they'd sent the communique "too early". An explanation I'd say was not quite matching the reality of them painting rumours with a veneer of credibility.

If every broker rebadged every share website's stories and rumours then the messaging from them would be as bad as some bulletin boards. Takes my faith in them down a notch....

Why no RNS this morning? My broker emailed a corporate action notice saying Advent were interested last night in CLIN which I hold in their account. The message was from CLIN themselves. Should I presume this website is slow again?

The northern activity 800m out looks very well aligned to the nocturnal light from 15th Nov last year.

If I'm reading right PG your activity video is just from the last month? If this is them going back to the north some 6 months after they were first there then that is interesting. If they've gone back but are 50-100m away from their previous spot that may mean we are seeing the start of a northern cheese?
