Wonder how easy (or not) it is to move the drill around long distances? There's a lot of sand dunes between HAV / Scallywag and our Paterson East tenement.... And I think one of our Nearology Neighbours alluded to their potential issues for getting a drill over to some of their more distant targets on their tenement when giving details of where they planned to drill. Distant of course meaning a few kilometres on the tenement scale, rather than thousands of kilometres on the outback scale of distance.

I guess the satellite will show us each and every sand dune they have to batter through as they do the move, in the same way we saw them creating a route to the outer South West of HAV.

If it gets too tortuous they could always do the closer Blackhills drilling whilst they work out a route to Paterson. I can imagine they'll need to do it all during the dry and cooler winter months . Which may mean it will be in mid-2021 before some of that exploration may start.

PaddyG's link to the flyover footage of the HAV camp showed some deep tyre treads which I'm guessing is a feature of ground conditions being impossible for a few days after rain storms.

If Scallywag ain't just a bunch of granite I guess we can amuse ourselves there drilling lots of holes come rain or shine for several months.

I also question the last two tweaks in the figures that seem a bit unsettling (optimistic) at first glance. SG figure has been mentioned at 2.7 from elsewhere..... Their figure was 2.85 which had been a 5% uplift and is now 3.1 which is heading for 15%.

The PoG is also potentially a concern - Newcrest themselves use $1200 for proven(?) And $1500 for possible reserves (I could have that slightly wrong with regards to terminology/which way round) but again the point is the same in terms of uplifting perceived value by more than 20%.

This adds together to be potentially misleading to what the value of HAV may be.

I don't believe we know enough about the size/shape/quality of ore from published results to make a judgement on how many tonnes if ore we have, as you say a 3D program would be handy....

Newcrest will of course need to pay onky one dollar more than the next highest bidder to be sure of getting HAV. The highest bidder for any HAV gold will have to calculate the cost of building a new plant or having access to the existing Telfer plant for processing (that would be highly skilled negotiations by anyone other major!) That leaves NC with an enormous advantage for any purchase of any part of HAV they cannot get via the current JV.

Anyone worked out what target is 700m west (following the dune line) from the first spot? Paddy did a handy overlay of targets on top of a satellite image a while back on Twitter.

I'm allegedly busy at work at the mo so can't double check.

The original activity didn't look like drilling to me. Nor does the new activity. No black holes.

There again if Scallywag really is just a lump of granite you'd be less keen to create sumps and all sorts of mess knowing you would have to go back and tidy up pretty pronto. If they get half a dozen hits on good gold then perhaps sumps will start appearing as there is every chance the entire surface will disappear into a deep hole as part of mine works. Hence initial tidyness is less important.

Sentinel has just been updated. Radar/ nocturnal shows a very busy compound at HAV and lots of centralised activity south west and north east.

Scallywag has two signals. One west of the original white dot....... So subtle on the daylight image it just looks like a nondescript dull spoldge.

I do believe we are due a Sentinel daylight satellite update plus a nocturnal / radar today on the 18th. They will be captured several hours apart - all eyes on Scallywag, which could of course just be a bunch of granite.....

And we can marvel at the depths they are trying to prove if the rigs haven't moved around much, and if there ain't new pads, at HAV. There is gold there!

Looks like the Riverfort/YA "death spiral" finance has been ditched early..... And we have CIBLS instead.

I think I'm pleased....time will tell....

I'm a fellow SVS->ITI transfer prisoner. I am losing all faith in ITI. The MSE (expert for saving money website) has a handy forum for realising you are not alone. I managed to get my trading cash from ITI via their clunky withdrawl form, still await two Phoenix accounts to become live, and have in parallel initiated two transfers out to other brokers. I was advised 7 weeks by ii. HL haven't even give me a guesstimate yet. I imagine every former SVS account holder will be moving their money out ASAP - and ITI are hopelessly under-resourced to on-board the accounts, sort out the bugs in their software (are they really manually moving holdings into Phoenix accounts, reconciling line by line!) or deal with all the transfer requests.

I can see 7 weeks being easily double that.

Those 3 will be possibly interesting for us.... There was already a Newcrest hole half way between HAV and Atlas that was never reported. I think, need to double check the location, similarly there was a hole half way toward Apollo. And I always wondered why we didn't do any "random" drilling to the east. Maybe Newcrest did between 12 days of nocturnal/radar satellite updates so we never spotted it.

NC got the core results analysed then did their JV agreement with our neighbours.

HAV - switching to true colour shows at least three rigs in the original south west Emental cheese. And a similar level of activity in the north east. Also our most western location looks active.

This is still the original spot. Nothing new that I can see, and nothing round and about in the outer fringes of the desert. Usual caveat on all that - early morning, small screen, haven't had a cup of tea.....

Think we are due a "nocturnal" image on or around the 6th Aug.

Sentinel should have a new image at some point today - unless someone with Planet access wants to update what's happening - I'll just have to be patient.

Would be interesting to see if there is more action at Scallywag. It could just be a jumble of granite you know?

So much chat on this board talks as if it is a nailed on certainty to be the mother of Havieron. It's exploration. Failure is the norm. Neighbouring tenement holders play nearology, and a lot of folks on here do the same within GGP's tenements.

@Frannie, yes it has been drilled. I couldn't spot the half dozen or so old holes when I looked a few months ago. The info may be somewhere on GGPs website. I'm fairly sure Paddy published it - triggering me to reach for a satellite image and stare at bits of desert until everything was possible dots.

It is worth reading through Rio's update on Winu. 120km of drilling including 26 nicely lined up sterilisation drills so they know where they can put mine infrastructure. All with pretty pictures.
I don't think we've done anywhere near enough sterilisation drills yet judging by Winu.
