I like your 1.6p = 2yrs of retirement.
Mine used to be waiting for the moment when I could make a month's salary during the walk to the work's kettle.
Then I was sent home to work from my front room.
Unless I dilly dally in the hall, the kettle is much closer so the equivalent rise much more difficult to achieve.
I think a big milestone, after lots of small buys in Jan / Feb / Mar, was "debt free" at 3.6p. Unfortunately to achieve that would mean selling so here I remain with a fine paper profit not having sold or even top-sliced.
I need a MRE.

Thrashed some sanity into my Android phone.... and Sentinel Hub is now visible in all its technicolour (or indeed black and white if I change filter) glory. So I'm finally looking at today's image:

Northern 50m by 50m square area is a new curiosity. It doesn't tie in with any nocturnal lights - one on the 22nd Oct 2019 is about the closest but is still a few hundred meters away. I thought the darker dot in the top left hand corner may be a drill hole? Is there something dodgy about the terrain so they have moved a lot of earth to form an embankment to contain any spills and to keep any flash flooding out? Maybe its advance planning for all the heavy vehicles to park in a compound prior to the creation of the decline. Keeps an oil or diesel spills inside a known area they can clean up later.

Other oddity is in the SW beyond the dune bridge - the most recent peppering of new holes seem to have vanished? Could it have been the after effects of the rain storm that has now dried out. It seemed odd for that flurry of activity to be new drill pads when the most recent nocturnal image didn't show anything happening over there, and day and night images were about 36 hours apart.

Looking froward to the 11th(ish) of June for the interims - should be the first proper tally of the cores from the original Emmental cheese in the south west.

Please note I have resisted the temptation to suggest the square is the first part of the "H" they are creating in order to spell out "Hi Paddy" for the satellite.

CB, what technology are you using to see today's image? Both my smartphone and laptop are blanking me when I try and access the site.

I search for Telfer Mine and then go east 40km ish. I know the colour of the rocks as Blackhills (stripe grey really) changes to Scallywag and the endless miles of red sandunes start.....

And once you get your eye in the field camp will leap out at you....

Go to a GGP report for HAV on the website and you'll get latitude and longitude. I've never put in coordinates but HAV is near -21.72000 / 122.63000 or there about.

Just tried to get in to the website from a laptop and it is still blanking me.

Sentinel ain't co-operative this morning on my Android Smartphone. White screen of death when I expect to see Rome......

Night satellite images are available every 12 days from the same place as the daylight ones. The Sentinel Hub website. Just tick sentinel 1 when searching for images once you are zoomed in on HAV on a daylight image and don't change the filters.

From memory / counting to 12 we last had an image on the 25th (you actually get to view it on the 26th, there's a long delay to load it into the website)......so 6th June is the next image which should be viewable on the 7th June.

My theory for today's daylight image is there won't be many new holes. They seem to have a drilling cycle of slightly more than a week so one image shows heaps of new holes, next image 5 days later shows not much new cos they are still drilling down to get corresponding 1,000m + deep.

....of course I'd love to be wrong and have everywhere look like an Emental cheese of new drill pads.

There is an entirely different US company that uses the ticker GGP.

How well analysed. The after hours RNS, I missed cos I had an appointment with a cooling reservoir after a very hot day trapped indoors at the work's laptop, was the icing on the cake. Hearing the below market sell price was the entire jar of preserved cherries stuck on top.

I have just joined your fan club - unluckily your posting history would imply you are largely interested in commercial property..... This is my only property holding other than one domestic house builder. Both seemingly now LTHs ( that's code for "below my buy price") as, unlike others, I don't need the cash to bail my goolies out from the jaws of the mangle.....

You need to look at Callum's 3D model more closely, there are two large and one smaller separate areas outside of the main core. Smaller 3rd "blob" is quite visible at 3:30 in.....

The first opening few seconds will look familiar too if you compare it to Magnetic and Gravity maps from GGPs website. You can get your bearings and directions of where the additional finds are just from those few seconds. And you could also get a sense of scale by looking at NC's most recent 3D model of the horseshoe core in their presentation, then look at Callum's video.

The mid-June interim update will be interesting. We should get more information from the NW, SW, plus beyond the dune bridge in the SW - hopefully everything drilled up to about the end of April. That should theoretically also include all three of these separate finds as the more subtle smaller area closer to camp had at least four holes that were active in mid-April.

Patience required until the interims arrive.

I'm imaging the 1,000m deep crater created by multiple years of block caving slowly filling with water. I am going to celebrate my 100th birthday with the ultimate outback skinny dip accompanied by a bottle of champagne in each hand.

Sorry folks, the satellite is hydro powered, and with the recent lack of rain we're keeping any spare power to make ice for the champagne bucket.

The daylight images used to get updated at about 6.30am, then it changed to midday, and I haven't managed to work out more recent timings..... Possibly 10ish?

The nocturnal images seem to be even slower to get loaded, even accounting for a 12hr timezone difference. So a 9pm Oz image on day one is likely to be available at 8am in the UK in day two.

......I think PG has a way of going to the raw data via a different bit of the web rather than waiting for it to be nicely searchable via locations / towns / cities on Sentinel Hub.

Anyone got 50p for the electric?

PG, Must be something there indeed.

It also dawned on me..... Draw a straight line through your three red holes, move this line preserving its slant south east until it touches the next line of holes. Can't read the text but from bottom left to top right they are - green, green, yellow and . My faint pink light in the night is pretty darned close to where the should be if this second line of holes is symmetrical.

Are we seeing a mix of in-fill and extent definition drilling....?

@Paddy, vehicle headlights moving at night.....

Someone else suggested this "it's a vehicle" a while back when the distant northern light appeared on the 15th Nov. So I set off around bits of outback on the nocturnal satellite image trying to see if I could spot similar traffic elsewhere. There was nothing on the entire Nullabor straight - you could certainly see the streetlights at the roadhouses though. And during my random meanderings I found a beautifully lit multi-truck ore train on a private rail track heading to Port Hedland - now that looked cool in the midst of mile after mile of darkness.

It convinced me that if it is a light on the image that is still there as you zoom in to 200m scale then it is a static light on the ground. However only time will tell if it is drill pad prep works, RC drilling through 400m cover, and then the exciting bit for us all - full bhoona diamond core drilling.

Lots of central activity with the NW new hole plus lots of activity scattered through the north east.
I think there may be the start of a new northerly hole a third of the way from the most northern of the NW holes towards the most northerly in the NE. It's a pink spot which in daylight looks to be right on the southern edge of the first sand dune line.

@Value, blue lights seemed to precede green when I was trawling through the whole sequence of images. Could it be RC drilling through 400m of cover first where they just dump the drill material, before better lit diamond core where they have to be able to see precisely to stack all the (10m?) cores and label them in sequence.

We're due a nocturnal image on the 25th..... Although it can take a while to load up to the Hub.

Weather forecast says rain should stop by 9pm. Not convinced with luck being on twice after a fuzzy daylight image. Fingers crossed the weather clears through in time and we get to see where the busy drilling spots are.

....or indeed a Welsh forecast?

Unless we are lucky and the storm doesn't arrive till later in the day we may get a clear morning glimpse from the satellite through the gathering clouds.

Could make ground conditions a bit tricky for moving drill rigs around for a day or two. And there is the chance of more rain later in the week.

With this cross-checking you have made me even more convinced that the nocturnal images hold immense value perhaps particularly for "early stage" desert exploration.
