For what it's worth there has to be a balance.

Some questioning quite rightly where we are and where we are going.

All investors and potential investors should DYOR.

I did and was incorrect originally with the Usk project.

The question is.
Does tidal work?
Answer Yes.
So the next question is about making it viable for the projects that SAE are involved in.

At the moment they are developing fantastic equipment with the ability to give clean renewable energy.

The cost side maybe an issue but with the right backing and committed investment the tidal prices can prosper.

But money is required it is simple.

I really want this to be a game changer but please bear in mind at the moment we are looking at on 4 turbines.

There are 3 at the moment producing energy.

When you then take this to 18-20 turbine and a sub-sea hub then it really does require proof of concept and deployment.

Let's not forget that the life of the turbine is expected to be 25 year.

However each 5 years a turbine will be removed and maintained.

The above is time and money and on a much bigger scale.

Hence why I keep going back to other income and projects.

It does look like a Sub-coal project may e imminent in the coming months.

This will with BESS potential expansion give the funding to support the main operation of Tidal energy.

AR2000

Atlantis and GE have already been working in partnership since September 2018 on the development and performance validation of Atlantis’ AR2000 tidal generation system, which is expected to be the world’s largest and most powerful single axis turbine available. This record-breaking system is expected to be deployed on future phases of Atlantis’ iconic MeyGen Project in Scotland, the wider Atlantis project pipeline and will also be available for sale to commercial developers. This next generation turbine will be capable of accommodating rotor diameters of between 20 – 24 meters, site dependent, with a cut in speed of less than one meter per second and a maximum output of 2.0 MW at 3.05 m/s for a machine with a 20 meter rotor diameter. The AR2000 has been in development for over two years and builds on the successes and lessons learned from the AR1500 deployment and operation on the world-leading MeyGen project in Scotland. SAE has invested more than £5m in the development of this machine which is expected to be deployed on future phases of the MeyGen project and will be available for sale to commercial developers in Q4 2019.

Yes. But.
They need the finances to install another 18+ AR2000 Turbines.

It is simple.
Given the time taken for 4 this need a massive injection of cash and development which includes reduction in replacing or redeploying turbines.
I want this to work well.
However too often on the BB we get no news or muted news about turbine deployment and also little from SAE.
When it if SAE becomes successful this radically needs to change.

Eventually the right conversations of knowledge about this SP and company begin.

The first 2 posters are IMO bang on.
As a LTI I actually can see some light however this must be with something more than tidal. It is as simple as that.
The only other way is massive investment.

That is correct and what I have been trying to explain for quite some time and in some cases to people who only expect tidal.

And it fits with funding for me. If it comes to fruition then it will be a rerate.

At the beginning of 2022 the business set three key priorities:

1. Win a Contract for Difference (CfD) to deliver further deployment of turbines at our MeyGen site.

2. Release value at the Uskmouth site by developing a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.

3. Lay the foundations to take the lessons learnt from the Uskmouth conversion project to develop a pipeline of new opportunities.

You all need to take your rose tinted glasses off and really deal with the facts.

I know some ramper maniacs will come back with chite.
But hey ho....

The 4 turbines at the moment is not the be all and end all.
It is the future.
To get there requires something more.
Given the periods it has taken to get the turbines back in the water.....

Let's get real.

If Meygen 2 is done...
This means that 49 turbines will be installed.

So my question to this board is...

How and at what cost will / can this be delivered given the long delays in only getting 3 of 4 done.

I like so many investors want place 2 and 3 etc to be ultra successful but I have my queries and questions as an investor quite rightly.

It is because I have been battered and bruised on the SAE rollercoaster.

Initially I was bitten by the bug of it will be 76p as per the BB at the time.

Since then after doing research and watching I have seen the negative aspects kick in and the lack of projects, income and Comms.

I hope the RNS today is the turning point and as I have been saying.
The points 2 and 3 are pivotal in the company surviving and thriving.

So for tidallover and all the others that are blinkered let me state this one more time.

If BESS is not processed and Sub-coal then forget tidal and Meygen because they need the income and liquidity of this to feed into the primary tidal business.

It is that simple.

People keep knocking me and the rampers feed about my negativity but you Wenglish know over the last 3 years how I have been an advocate and supporter of SAE so the newbies and other need sit up and smell the coffee and deal with realistic facts.

Nuff said.

Let's see what today and the future brings for this potential giant of tidal and other renewables.

The market has been buoyant for alot of the last 4 months during good RNSsss.

SP not moving...

I really think I need to really look at myself because I am asking for factual feedback on this board and I think (imo)

And so on.
The balance sheet ain't good and it pains me as an investor to say that.

But all the good news recently and at 16.30 today the SP was nearing a measly 1.5p

Forget any ramp or deramp and even the thing I normally sat about MM and shorting.

Something serious is holding this share back.

Meaning what wyndrone

They are a world leader in building underwater turbines?
You really need to look very close at the company...

Remember electricity requirements are set to be 30-60% more over next generation. Fossil and over legacy industry takes longer to mobilize.
Renewables IMO will expand massively very soon.

SAE needs to be ready for this
